I made my second shot glass batch and this time I put it in the glass jar with the tight plastic top. I mixed two shot glasses with 30/30 sdops each and placed them both in the glass jar. I put the jar int he closed and waited 23 hours before transferring it to a bottle and testing it. This time it tested at almost 2,500 (250 on the test strip container). I may try setting it in the sun to see if that will help raise the ppm.

Will be interesting to see, Sandy. Was the fluid in the shot glasses clear? (i.e. had all the gas gone out?)

Not quite clear but after a few hours in the fridge to clean that out it became clear.

It's clear when all the gas has come out.

Yes. That yellow is the chlorine dioxide gas, suspended in water.

Yes, Megg, chlorine dioxide is a yellowish gas. It is the "active ingredient" in the CDS. Once it's out of the water, the water is clear.
