Yes. The typical solution equates to .5mg per vertical drop, what is purchased pre made. We purchase the powder and mix it with distilled water to produce 1mg per drop. That's not necessary but we prefer to limit the number of drops to assist in accurate counting and to reduce our chances of getting the MB on anything as it stains (obviously being a dye). Ascorbic acid can be used to clean up a stain and it also can be coupled with MB to remove the blue color and prevent blue/green urine. Recently I was reading about how the combo of MB and Ascorbic Acid (Vit C) increases the effectiveness of Ascorbic Acid as the electron donation happens before the mixture is consumed with MB being able to deliver it through barriers that Ascorbic Acid cannot get through, such as to the brain. My wife has not tried the combo for a UTI so I cannot comment on it's effectiveness in that regard. We have mixed them to confirm that the blue color is reduced but we never added enough to completely remove all of the color but there are videos of people achieving that online.
A tip for taking MB is to add the drops to a glass of filtered or distilled water (2-4 ounces/50-100ml) and drink with a straw. That prevents a blue tongue if done properly. We just drink the mixture since we don't care if our tongues are blue for a few hours but with lower doses we don't get a blue tongue anyway. It can have a strong medicinal flavor so one should dilute to what is acceptable. The product that was sold for UTI's, not sure it it's available online, was MB in a capsule. I don't see why one couldn't make their own if they couldn't take the flavor. It would be best to fill a capsule over the sink, preferably stainless, to limit the chance of staining. It's a serious dye so caution must be exercised.
