I have personally been taking Lugol's for about 7 years now. I take 4 drops twice a day and it has completely gotten rid of my fibrocyctic disease in both of my breasts. My husband also takes the drops daily but only 2 drops daily. Iodine is needed by so much of our body that's it's amazing we are all still walking around since most are seriously lacking in it. Besides Lugol's, which is the cheapest method you can get it via seaweed or a cool expensive pill form called Ioderal. It comes in either 12.5mg. or 50 mg. pill form and can be gotten here;

The pill form is the best one to at least keep on hand for travel as iodine can really ruin your day if it gets out of the bottle.

We stocked up when we heard the government was about to take it away (like they do to all things that are good for our health). Each drop is about 6.5 mg. and at least 50mg. daily is recommended according to numerous studies done in California. Some have to take 100mg. daily to get their health up to snuff in a timely manner. When we run out which will be in about 8 years, we will hire a chemist to make us up some more of the same strength. Do read the link above, it's a very short read and informative.

Original Lugol's is 5% Iodine... i think range from 5% - 7% will be ok to used.... for skin cancer... they prefer 7% as read before...

You need to understand how many mg. a day you need to take then figure out how much of the mixture you need to take to get that dosage into you. Remember that it takes 1,000mcg to equal 1 mg.

My wife and I have been taking high dosage iodine for seven months. I take 150mg a day versus 75mg for her. Unlike MMS, iodine is essential to life, you can't live without it. Because of the extremely polluted environment we're all stuck in, iodine needs to be taken in quite large amounts to facilitate detoxing of the bad halides: fluorine, chlorine, and bromine. Iodine is a halide too but our bodies' chemistry depend on its presence. Low intake of iodine is the underlying cause of many diseases, dozens of them. People are largely stumbling through life, living on prescription drugs while all they need is adequate iodine. Symptoms of deficiency include: cold limbs even in a warm room, lethargy, brain fog, low resistance to infectious diseases, etc.. These are early signs. Drs. Guy Abraham, David Brownstein, Jorge Flechas, David Derry, are iodine enlightened doctors. Most mainstream docs are very leery of taking iodine over 2mg a day. This is the result of indoctrination by Big Pharma which really intends to make us all dependent on their mostly toxic drugs as solutions for all ailments.

BTW, although we take large amounts of iodine (in the form of Lugol's Iodine drops and Iodoral tablets) it is better to start at 12.5mg and ramp slowly up from there.
