I'm assuming most have seen this video of Jim Humble but I don't recall seeing it on this string so thought I'd post it. Apologies if it has already been posted.

Hi
great thread :)

one thing i noticed with the cds is its ability to quickly release the stored CDgas in the solution when the air temperature is higher than the fridge, need to be quick to apply the cds solution to water / juice or have the cds solution in a cool environment when opening is to takke whats required for the needed usage.

I concurr that the taste is much better to tolerate than the original mms1 mix
thanks

Yes, I've seen it and am strill waiting for someone to say what the advantage is to one method or the other. Jim uses distilled water and the video here uses saline solution.

There is no "advantage" - specifically. You have to use the saline for injection. For some people, finding the saline solution is difficult, so they have to make it. (You can only buy it in Washington state with a doctor's prescription.) Also, for some people, distilled water may be cheaper to get than the saline solution.

The other thing to look at is the two instructional videos and the differences there.

Andreas' directions creates a solution that works, but is half as strong as Jim's - therefore the dosing is 1mL is equivalent to 3 drops. Jim's is 1/2mL equivalent to 3 drops. That may be because the saline takes up less of the gas or because Andreas' technique uses a 30 minute or less "making" period, and Jim uses 2 hours.

Jim's focus on using a bottle that closely matches the amount of the mms/CD mix leaves less gas in the top of the bottle - therefore, more goes over into the larger bottle with the distilled water.

I, personally, have found that with less gas left in the smaller bottle, you have less of a chance for the gas to build up and "smoke out" or "off=gas" when you remove the tubing.

Is it not good enough to use plain drinking water?

Thanks for that info. I have watched both videos and am accumulating the equipment so your comments help in knowing what I will get.

I also would like to know if plain tap water can be used as the MMS/CDS is purifying.

Jim has stated on this forum (not this thread) that he prefers distilled or reverse osmosis water. On the video he says if you are in the wilds of the jungle, you use what you can. Personally, if I had access to distilled or reverse osmosis, I'd use it. After all, if the plain drinking water has metals or bacteria in it, the CDS is going to have to neutralize that, which means less active CDS per dose.

If you use drinking water, be sure it has no chlorine in it -

Is it not good enough to use plain drinking water?

Hi
Andreas new recommendation in MMS is using citric acid in a proportion of 33 to 37%
takes a little longer to react but attacks less the stomach.

Note from Admin: I've been using the 50% citric acid in a proportion of 1 drop citric acid per 2 drops MMS (or even 1 citric acid to 3 drops MMS), especially when I want a reduced acid content. Judging by the color change, the 2 to 1 mixture activates in 25 to 30 seconds. I think the 50% CA probably activates more quickly, and provides the same lower levels of acidity (lower ph). -Bruce
