since everyone believes that it is the citric acid that brings on the "herx" effect
i activated 3 drops MMS with 1 drop CITRIC ACID mixed with 4 oz water and the chlorine dioxide test strip reads between 50 and 100ppm . so can anyone tel me why do you have to use 3 drops citric acide ?
i mixed 16 drops of MMS and 8 drops of citric acid into 4oz water without activating before hand and the chlorine dioxide test strip reads 50ppm there was no yellow color no bleach smell just a very slide acidic taste could this be used this way ?

Well, personally, I don't think that you need to use 50% citric acid solution 1:1 with MMS1, and have been saying this for several months.

I generally use it 1 citric acid to 2 (or even 3) MMS, and the brown-yellow color generally seems similar to 1:1 after 25 to 30 seconds.

Placing unactivated drops in water doesn't strike me as effective - Cyrille has here documented that 10 drops MMS created less ClO₂ in the solution than 3 activated before adding water.

It's known that sodium chlorite solution will activate, more or less, in the body without prior activation (as in Jim's discovery of Stabilized Oxygen's anti-malarial properties in Guyana), but that it's not reliable. The goal is do deliver ClO₂ to the sites of infection or toxicity.

I don't believe that citric acid is a significant cause of detox (Herxheimer) reactions.

Very interesting question. Actually, Andreas Kalcker recommend 35% citric acid to 1:1 solution. He waits 1 minute and he says that this solution have better effects than the solution with 50% citric acid.

So, is Andreas saying to use 1 drop 50% citric acid to 3 drops MMS1 or is he saying to make up the citric acid at 35% (i.e., CA is 35% weight of the water) and use that 1 drop to 1 drop MMS?

I head he had talked about it at the seminar in Spain, but I think YT only had Jim Humble's talk in English - Andreas' was in Spanish?

I wonder how it would work in making CDS, hmmmmm. (mind whirling, LOL) -

I don't think the citric acid causes the herx reaction, Cyrille, but I do think some people are allergic or sensitive to it, which could mimic a herx reaction, like nausea or vomiting.

Hey, I have a water ionizer that I've pretty much put away - creates acidic or alkaline (and the other is removed) - I think I need to send him a message . Just to experiment. It LOOKS like, from the website, that he creates the citric acid using CA (at 33%) and acidic water (rather than distilled water) - and he uses a minute activation period. is this your understanding from his Spanish vids?

Just noodling here, Steve - wonder how much using the acidified water contributes. Haven't the faintest! Didn't I hear somewhere that Andreas was making a vid or longer vid? Hope it comes out soon in english or subtitles.

This is not at all to discount the work that JH has done and continues to do. I think he's a great man - and truly humble, in that as people like Andreas and Ron Neer find additional things that can be useful, he is willing to look at them and share them - JH is not "stuck" on trying to "protect his territory" - truly, I think he is the quintessential humanitarian.

In his seminar, Andreas said that is better to use a citric acid solution less than 38%. His solution is CA at 33% and acidic water and a minute for activation. He travels over the world treating many people and animals (and he discovered the CDS solution) and he said that this formula works better and have less HERX effects.
