Yes Pam,... lemons and limes :lol: but also raspberries, pineapple, mango, pomegranate, passion fruit, banana, strawberry, papaya,... I will juice just about any fruit I can get.
I always scan the fruit department for ripe fruit, sometimes you can buy it for a bargain because otherwise it has to be thrown away the next day. You can also buy (big bag) fresh deep frozen and ready to eat fruit which is often less expensive and more tasteful because it has been picked ripe and cleaned in country of origin.
I am not afraid of deactivating MMS/CDS with the C vitamin , because I add extra drop or so :)

In regards to your question, no, I have not tried what you ask. I also do not have those PH strips.
If you have those items, please give it a whirl and report back.
Here is the thing.
ClO2 will still get produced but at a slower rate. The mere presence of the activator in solution causes the alkaline MMS1 to react. NACL02 (MMS1) will start to convert to CLO2. If the solution is weak, it will take longer.
Let us not forget the very acidic stomach that upon feeling food or drink reacts accordingly and secretes various amounts of HCL.
So in a way, the activation process would be a little time delayed but still go to the end and completely activate in solution. Every time you activate MMS1, you smell the CLO2 gas. The longer it sits there, the more CLO2 gas is wasted. If you can smell it, you just lost some gas that could have been used to cure your health problem.

I'm just sharing this method for those that really can't handle the smell anymore, the heavy users out there with life threatening conditions. Some people won't go the CDS route because of the extra steps involved. Hey we are a little lazy in our own ways. ;-)

I have tried this method for a Flu I contracted 3 weeks ago now (raw throat, runny nose, muscle aches and pain, headaches) and the ordeal lasted only 3 days. I'm satisfied that it worked just as well. B)

If in doubt, always follow Bishop Jim's excellent procedure and read his book when unsure.

Hi Beverly,
I've used MMS for 6 years and still hate the taste! When I started it was under the old protocol and I took 15 drops 3x/day for a month! So I know firsthand about the taste!

You just don't want a juice like orange or grapefruit, or anything with added vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and I'd stick to juices you get in health food stores or places like Trader Joe's - grape, pomegranate, apple - all have helped me manage the taste.

I put my 6 drop maintenance dose in a small juice glass and half fill it with juice then take it like a shot chasing it with water. It helps manage the taste.

However, when I'm doing P1000 all day long I want to avoid the calories from drinking juice every hour, so I use capsules.

You didn't say what concentration you were using in the capsule or if you'd added water to it. On P1000 I make up that day's doses in the morning and add an equal amount of water to the MMS and citric acid (for 8 3-drop doses add 8 drops of water and take 9 drops in a capsule every hour). And I drink plenty of water with it - at least 4-6 oz with each dose, which helps reduce the stomach effects when the capsule dissolves.

Hang in there - MMS has cured all kinds of infections in me. Even a cold or flu is gone in only 2 days.

There is no added vitamin in homemade fresh fruit juice ;) .

The naturally occurring sugar "problem" in homemade fresh fruit juice is overrated in my opinion, but if you want you can add some soda water which, like Dishpan posted, is distracting and refreshing :) .

Thanks for all of your replies. I've learned a great deal here. We finally made up a batch of CDS and have found that much easier to deal with. We do as suggested -- put the daily dose (8ml) in a clear container and fill the container to 800 ml with water. We drink a ml every hour. When the bottle is empty we know we've had our daily dose. The taste is fine for me but my husband thought it was still pretty bad so he adds a drop of peppermint essential oil to his bottle. I just hope the CDS works as well as the MMS does.

What a great forum! It's such a great place to get educated on this amazing thing.

I've been using Knudsen's Cherry Cider - just add a bit to a 3 drop dose.
so - 3 drops - plus 3 oz of water and about 1 oz of juice. Even my husband didn't mind that one.

If you mix it in your stomach, what's the purpose of the instructions that say: mix it, waiting 3 minutes, and then mix it in water. What about the gas? I was under the impression that you waited for the gas to disappear before mixing it in the distilled water.
