blackbird is correct with regards to her comment in the thread; A lady with a new hope now free from Cancer Stage 4……

I have personally been taking Lugol's for about 7 years now. I take 4 drops twice a day and it has completely gotten rid of my fibrocyctic disease in both of my breasts. My husband also takes the drops daily but only 2 drops daily. Iodine is needed by so much of our body that's it's amazing we are all still walking around since most are seriously lacking in it. Besides Lugol's, which is the cheapest method you can get it via seaweed or a cool expensive pill form called Ioderal. It comes in either 12.5mg. or 50 mg. pill form and can be gotten here;

The pill form is the best one to at least keep on hand for travel as iodine can really ruin your day if it gets out of the bottle. :-)

Lugol's solution is a brown liquid consisting of 10 parts potassiun iodide (K1) to 5 parts iodine to 85 parts of (distilled) water.

Yes Edwin, that is what I take daily. Here's a link that further explains dosage;

We stocked up when we heard the government was about to take it away (like they do to all things that are good for our health). Each drop is about 6.5 mg. and at least 50mg. daily is recommended according to numerous studies done in California. Some have to take 100mg. daily to get their health up to snuff in a timely manner. When we run out which will be in about 8 years, we will hire a chemist to make us up some more of the same strength. :-)

I take "LUGOL'S IODINE", which is 5% Iodine to 10% Potassium Iodide in 85% distilled water. This is the solution named after the French physician J.G.A. Lugol in 1829

much like Jim Humble's solution is known as MMS, which by the way is way up on the list right there with Lugol's solution in importance. Check out the ranking here;

You need to understand how many mg. a day you need to take then figure out how much of the mixture you need to take to get that dosage into you. Remember that it takes 1,000mcg to equal 1 mg.
