Hey guys
I have had a bit of a rubbish day today! I handled it as well as I could but it it really made me feel crappy!
I was so pleased yesterday with Calvin, the farmer was pleased and his wife was there, pleased but skeptical. She is a wonderful woman I get on well with her, she teaches science at high school when not helping out on the farm, her family moved over from south Africa some years ago. She asked me exactly what I had given the calf and was interested in what I told her. I know a fair about Chlorine Dioxide and have met PLENTY of resistance from people in the past and so am relatively careful in my explanations, not running before I can walk and scaring people away. She understands science and chemistry and has friends that are involved in researching medicines as well as working in hospitals in Africa, I thought she would be the ideal person to convince. We had a little chat and the next day when I returned to see Calvin I spoke to her again. I had previously mentioned work with HIV/AIDS patients in Africa and I think this is where I lost her. As she lived in South Africa previously she knows too well how many people are suffering with this problem and she said that if the Chlorine Dioxide could help then it would already be in use, I told her it was and it is in use but couldn't convince her of it. She said there must be bad side effects or it would be used as HIV is such a huge problem over there. She had spoken to a friend of hers in the research field and they had said they would look into it but it didnt sound right.
She was very nice the whole time but couldn't seem to seperate between Chlorine and Chlorine Dioxide. I told her they act VERY differently but couldn't convince her, she was quite convinced that it was acting as a bleach inside the body. she had read reports of dehydration and then the farmer got the idea that maybe the calf was so dehydrated due to my bleach injection! (it was already dehydrated before I started seeing it, and he had told me this was due to diarrhea, very annoying for him to conveniently forget this now!)
The farmers wife butted in to say it wasn't ACTUAL bleach but was acting like it in the body as it was essentially chlorine. she said oral doses small enough would just be rejected by the body but I should be very careful injecting. (she was convinced it would not get into blood if taken orally)
I am used to this but wasn't used to her very specific questions regarding how it interacted with red and white blood cells. I knew parts of the answers but had to do a lot of research this afternoon to get everything straight. I have supplied this to her on a memory stick and have included some excellent reports, she was happy to receive these.
I asked if they wanted me to stop and they both said it was ok to continue, the farmer told me it was my own time I was wasting and she said I wouldn't have been allowed if it was a girl but as it was male they didn't mind.
I was told they couldnt prove either way it the injections had helped as the cow had received so many antibiotics in the past, cows go up and down all the time they said.
They are both very busy people and this problem with Calvin only got so bad due to them not noticing until it was too late. He really is emaciated and was in a real bad way before I started giving him CDS orally.
I know that I cannot convince them but as I spent such a vast amount of time with him I know for sure it was the MMS that has brought him back on the right track. To start with the skin on his neck was tenting when pinched and there was a gap between his eyeballs and eyelids, there is no tenting now it snaps right back and no gap between eye and eyelid either
It has been such a rapid improvement since giving the injections I just wanted to laugh out loud and say 'ARE YOU SERIOUS!' when the farmers say they think im wasting my time. I said I almost wanted to stop giving him the injections so he got sick again and then start again to PROVE them wrong when he again got well! (I WOULD NEVER DO THIS, EVER)
sorry for rambling its been winding me up all day! I know in my heart the truth, i spent so much time with him and that's all that matters, that he is ok.
I would inject myself or my other dog Roofus in the blink of an eye if orally didnt work, I wont let there skepticism cloud the results I know have been achieved here, I think I just built myself up with the idea that so many poorly animals could be helped with something so safe and straight away I have AMAZING results and STILL skepticism.
I am still hopefull that the info I provided will help convince the farmers wife, if I can convince her he will follow suite!
