Sodium chlorite where to buy in UK?

I tried HCl 10% from ebay. Diluted it to 4%. Didn't react with sodium chlorite unfortunately.

Alibaba send sodium chlorite powder.

What did you use instead Jogo?

I bought HCL from eBay for £15.50 at 35-36% and diluted it down and it was fine.

I buy my sodium chlorite powder from Tuluce Chemicals in Turkey. Good price and products arrived quickly. I've never been able to source it in the U.K. As the companies that sell it will only sell to companies and want a statement as to what you're using it for.

Thank you Bomble. Oh man! I just ordered sodium chlorite flakes from PFL in America. I had no idea about Tuluce and now I see it on sale! I don't see any 35-36% HCL on eBay right now. I will keep checking.

Just seen this post, I bought sodium chlorite flakes from PFL in the US also, but that was five weeks ago and they have still not arrived in the UK. Last update I had was 7th May, nothing since. You can blame the Worldwide Corona problem for delays, but 5 weeks is getting a bit much when I have recently received a package from China within 10 days.

Like you, I have never been able to buy HCL in the UK, so will be using a Citric Acid activator for now, I bought that OK from the UK.

Whiz, I hope both of our orders don't get mysteriously lost. I'll try citric acid but I have a suspicion I won't be able to tolerate ingesting it. I should at least be able to use the MMS1 in baths and topically.

Yes the citric acid might be a concern, with me too, but, didn't have much choice at the time as HCL was no where to be seen in the UK. I think if you start with the starting procedure then you have a better chance though. I did use MMS many many years ago actually and was OK with it, that was ready prepared though, but fingers crossed this time will be the same.
