Muriatic acid (31.45%) is HCL, although not the cleanest. Should be able to find it in DIY stores, ceramic tile shops, hardware stores, etc. Both muriatic acid and citric acid work fine to make CDS.

Thanks CLO2, I will have a look sometime, will try the CA first as I already have it, still waiting delivery of the SC flakes so cannot really do anything just now.

The UK is sorted now. We can get HCL, SC flakes and citric acid all inside Europe. Read the previous posts in this thread.

My SC flakes arrived today from PFL in the States, so about 7 weeks, anyway, made up my first batch of MMS today with no problems and a Citric Acid activator, will be checking quality in the morning prior to commencing the starting procedure.
