Hello, new to this forum...I am currently using Bentonite clay for a spider bite, someone recommended sodium chlorite, and I have not the first idea how to start, hoping there is an inexpensive way for me to get going. And also what is the purpose of the sodium chlorite regarding my bite...Thanks for any help in this area. Have a wonderful day, Jennifer

Hi, Jenn, Do you know what kind of spider bit you? ON page 110 of Jim Humble's latest book, he discusses spider bites.

Spider Bites

In the event of a brown recluse spider bite, use diaper rash ointment – Desitin or some other diaper rash ointment containing at least 40% zinc oxide. I mention this because some people have tried to use MMS and it has had very little effect. Since Desitin contains 40% zinc oxide, it will kill most of the poison and reduce the pain and itching of a brown recluse spider bite in less than one day. I have seen dozens of people successfully treat their bites with this diaper rash ointment. You should also take MMS hourly for a few days.

As long as we are talking about spider bites, let me mention a remedy for black widow bites:
• Slice open a freshly cut aloe vera leaf (about 2” x 2”) and put the open side against the bite.
• Tape it over the bite, being sure to hold it tight against the bite, excluding most air.
• Leave it in place for at least 12 hours before putting a fresh piece on.
Most, or all, of the poison will be gone in 12 hours. There can be complications, so always take MMS hourly for a few days. Do not become discouraged. Some spider bites can take a week or two to clear up, but most are cleared up in a day or two if you follow these instructions. Continue taking MMS at least 4 times a day.

If you don't have any MMS, there are people who can send you some - check out the list of vendors here genesis2forum.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=10&id=7515&limit=6&limitstart=18&Itemid=66#8965

Hi, Pam...thanks for responding...I am pretty sure brown recluse...I have 2 dogs and one has been compromised(health-wise) with too many vaccines! He also used to get Flea and tic topicals, until he almost died from that , too! So we only use diamateous earth around here, and natural flea spray, and plug in supposed pest repellers(guess they are not working too well! ) I have been using the Bentonite clay , but have been getting intense itching, someone told me this is due to poison leaving quicker than I can get rid of it. Desiitin, wow, have not had that around for 20 years, haha! Do you think it would be worth a try even if it has been a week already? Also, do not want to appear ignorant, do I need to make this solution myself? And is it expensive? We have been hit hard , here in Tucson(I am sure like everyone else), but as business owners , we have had to move to a tiny shop, and our city is being run by a bunch of dingbats, to put it kindly! Thanks again for the advice, will get the Desitin today, and is maybe I could take charcoal capsules for awhile...Where can I purchase Mr. Humbles latest book...Sincerely, Jennifer:)

Desitin (at least 40% zinc oxide) is certainly inexpensive enough to try - I have it in my "must have" kit - it's not like there's a "cure" with the medical field.

There are vendors on our forum here

You don't have to make it yourself. Note that Project Green Life is out of business, even though the webpage is still up.

A bottle of MMS is usually around $20 - 25 dollars. My first bottle lasted me 3 years. (Obviously I was using it intermittently) - I don't know what the costing on the new CDS formulation will be - but it should be comparable.

If you want an online copy of the book (which is what I have, makes it easy to search on keywords) you can find a place to order it on his website www.jimhumble.biz He does not sell MMS, just his book. Usually the first half is free, and the second half costs - but I have an earlier version, so I knew what I was getting and bought the whole thing at once.

Thanks for the responses...I am going to get the desitin , first, and then look up the MMS, I read some reviews on Amazon, after finding Jim's books, I always take those with a grain of salt, as anti-natural folks just don't GET IT!! I have been using natural solutions for 15 years, just wish I would have done that for my doggies. Thanks also for the Clay site...would anyone be able to recommend anything for my husband who has had flat feet his whole life, and now suffers horrible foot pain? Is it worth trying the MMS, and/or clay also? We have tried shoes, ointments, all kinds of supplements, to no avail. Thanks a lot!:)

Hi, was wondering , I just got the Desitin, should I leave this on for a day, and stop the clay? Also, I guess I will have to go to an MD and see if they know if this is MRSA. I thought you only contracted that if around hospitals or GYMs.

No, MRSA is just a staph infection no steroids. You can get it outside the hospital. If it does test as MRSA, there's a totally different protocol for that, and it does respond to MMS -.

Jim states in his book

"In the event of a brown recluse spider bite, use diaper rash ointment – Desitin or some other diaper rash ointment containing at least 40% zinc oxide. I mention this because some people have tried to use MMS and it has had very little effect. I have seen dozens of people successfully treat their bites with this diaper rash ointment. You should also take MMS hourly for a few days."

I'm guessing here, but I would assume that the MMS would be the 1000 protocol, and that the Desitin you'd do just like you'd do on a baby's bottom (with diaper rash) - leave it on until it gets better.

Okay, thanks, all around the area that I have been treating with the bentonite clay, it's red, but I had been putting band-aids on at night so I would not accidentally scratch, but it looks inflamed. Too bad we can't trust the Western medicine world, with Alternative Medicine.... at least it's not invasive. Husband says I can order the MMS, but which book title do you recommend ...I appreciate your time.

P.S. the link about MMS, brought me to a page where people were saying they lost their money and never got their MMs after the FDA raid...
