Hi, time to do an intro - a newbie here.
I have been doing MMS "on and off" since 2007. Initially it was the original protocol and I managed to get to 8 drops 2x a day before the herx set in and I backed off. Ultimately the smell got to me, causing my sinuses to hurt when I drank it - even with swimming nose clamps, so I pretty much used it topically, getting rid of a toenail fungus that had refused to move for 18 months or so. I initially thought the fungus was just a trauma damage from dropping something heavy on my foot, but when the area didn't change, although the nail grew out, I knew it was more than that.
I've also used it on cuts that were irritated and infected, to brush my teeth (I had a 2 year hiatus from the dentist, and when I showed back up he said, "I don't know what you've been doing, but your teeth and gums are in GREAT shape") -
And when I first moved up here in 2009, my cat, Ivan, got a really nasty respiratory infection. Tried both a holistic and a regular vet, and he didn't improve. Blood tests, antibiotics, the whole works. Finally I said, to heck with this, and started dosing him with MMS. I would make up a dose for me and add two ounces of water, and then using a syringe (without the needle) pull up a 1mL dose for him and squirt it in his mouth. Cleared up that respiratory problem in short order.
I'm very excited about the CDS protocol, because I still have things I want to work on.
I do have a question, though. I've had gastric bypass surgery, which means my stomach is bypassed. My "stomach" is a small pouch about the size of a chicken egg at the bottom of my esophagus. I also have IBS. I've hesitated to do MMS2 - or even MMS1 in capsules - because the product would hit the intestine directly - and those of us with GBS are discouraged from taking any meds (such as asprin or Cox3 inhibitors/NSAIDs) that might cause stomach distress, we're a lot more sensitive to things like intestinal bleeding. Has anyone had any experience with how harsh MMS2 might be hitting the lining of the intestine?
Thanks again!
