New method for Member Account approval added to the Forum

Due to the massively increased amount of marketing Spam posts to the Genesis 2 Forum recently, we've needed to seek a method of making sure that new Forum Members are actually interested in some aspect of MMS or the Genesis II Church, etc.

From now on, before being approved Members will have to reply to an email from an Admin and briefly state why they are interested in Forum membership before their membership is approved.

This may delay peoples' ability to post to the Forum, but it will ensure that we're not assaulted with marketing for products or the placing of backlinks for such things as video-games, drugs or pornography.

Their spamming had told us that they know MMS is working... that is why they find way to spam our threads so bad... especially we post the progress of HIV and Cancer... which is their big money machine....

They give answer using indirect way.... i see it and feel it.... Thanks to them.... they represent the specialist in the medical fields.. we need no approval from FDA or clinical studies by the government to know their answer...

Just to respond on the nature of the current "approval" process - We NEED to have a way of making certain that people opening memberships on the forum are not here to spam us with commercial messages. Just a few weeks ago, we were getting over 100 spam posts a day, and it was making the forum very hard to use.

I've tried to make the process of opening an account as easy to understand as possible, but many people don't read the information or see the notifications that are part of the process. I'm doing the best I can to expedite memberships and answer all queries, but am getting over 400 emails a day from the forum and mistakes happen.

As a rank newcomer to the forum, I can appreciate how a site like this can be quickly overcome with unwanted posts. I really do appreciate the effect that I have already experienced with prot. 1000. In three weeks I have lost the arthritic pain on one of my fingers (I am a pianist), and great improvements in my speaking ability (also a preacher), and in so many other ways.
