But there is vitamine C in it, just took a look at ingredients
So I could work my day with MMS, water and apples, and at the end eat a normal meal.
Thanks for the document!

Thanks I saw that, thought it meant cereal and coffee.
What is cereal coffee?
Its added Vit C that is of issue, not natural C.

Natural C: oh ok so that is why we can activate with lemon juce
Cereal coffee is:
Caf-Lib the Uncoffee
Grain beverage with Chichory
Ingredients:
Extract of roasted malt barley, roasted barley, roasted Chichory.
Really tasted like coffee.
Finally no added vitamin C in it. Looked on the wrong pot in my things!

C is ascorbic
Lemon is Citric
I recognize some of those ingredients as beer ingredients a staple for many over the millenia.
Thanks!

Lemon juice contains some citric acid which will activate SC somewhat, but it is also an antioxidant!
Someone wanted to use lemonade to help mask the taste of classic MMS, so I tested the ppm before and after adding fresh squeezed lemon juice to a dose of MMS. The lemon juice reduce the ppm about 40%! Yes, citrus will activate SC somewhat, but it is also an antioxidant, so it will then turn around and kill some of the CLO2.
Lemon juice has more antioxidants then orange juice.
Some days you just can't win.

Sid, when I was measuring CLO2 concentration (ppm & mg) vs time, vinegar was not measurable nor did I see any color change in the SC and no odor. Tried using two different vinegars.
My first choice in an acid to activate SC would be 4% HCL, then 50% citric acid.

Have you tested the stability of CDH? I guess what I'm asking is - Understanding that 4% HCL is the best activator, what's the best formulation in which to use it - CDS or CDH or ?

Regular CDH appears to keep for months in a fridge. Capsule CDH is another matter because the recipe is very different. For capsules we need high CLO2 concentration in a very small amount of solution. The latest capsule recipe does look good at 9 days life. It is posted in the most recent update in this PDF file on page 8, CDH Capsule Recipe #2.

4% HCL works great in classic MMS, CDS and CDH. For CDS use 10% HCL or twice as much 4% HCL.
