chlorite /citric acid powder blend was created by melynch
As I travel very frequently I want to know if I can blend together in a sachet the powder forms of sod chlorite/citric acid powder and when convenient for me, dissolve in water and consume.

Is the blend of these two powders stable? do they react in the dry form? or do they only react when dissolved in water

cheers

Hi Mel,

I don't think mixing the powders will work, probably will react. The sodium chlorite is very reactive, that's why it's classified as a hazardous material. If the powders were separated it should not be a problem. With the most common dose being only 3 drops of each though, it would only be a minute amount of each powder for a dose.
