I have found some things I'm doing wrong after being here only a short while. I have a whole lot wrong and I can't wait to start the HRP "correctly." I have read Jim' s MMS Health Recovery Guidebook, completed the Startup Procedure and I am into day2 of Protocol 1000. Now I must go back to the beginning.
First thing I'm doing wrong is using Kratom while on the Protocol. I didn't realize that Kratom was an antioxidant. Next thing I'm probably doing wrong is drinking Diet Pepsi. I tested it with the Test Strips and it is fine. But after rereading Jim's book it says not to drink caffeinated sodas while on the Protocols.
To make things worse, I occasionally smoke pot. Thumbing through this Forum I found out that this is a no-no. I do have a few questions I hope someone can answer:
1. If Diet Pepsi is compatible with MMS, when can I drink it?
2. Is there a restriction to the amount of liquid one can drink while they are in dosing hours?
3. Is there a Protocol for dealing with withdrawals? Kratom withdrawals are nothing like Bezo withdrawals but they are uncomfortable.
Thanks again for the wonderful forum and thank you for your responses.
David

On page 43 Jim says:
So that should answer one of your questions. Some sodas work fine with MMS1: Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, 7-Up, and Canada Dry Ginger Ale (use only the original formulas; do not use Diet Soda or “Light” or “Zero”).
It may be possible to drink too much liquid with MMS in that it might get too diluted in your stomach where we rely on stomach acid to activate most of the MMS as only 10% is activated externally. Forum user Mart1n says that too much daily water consumption will remove a lot of minerals.
Regarding withdrawal symptoms when you quit taking other substances, Jim recommends slowly reducing those while taking MMS. Give it a try and see how that works for you. Do let us know your progress! Thanks.

Thank you for your response. My confusion about soda came from page 56 that reads:
When taking MMS1 or MMS2 avoid alcohol, chocolate, coffee, decaffeinated coffee, caffeinateddrinks, tea (black, green and many herbal teas)milk, coconut water, orange juice, tangerine juiceor any drinks with added Vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
Does Jim's recommendation to taper off one substance while gradually introducing
MMS apply to Marijuana? I thought I read on a post here that one needs to be free
of THC before beginning MMS. As you know THC has an extremely long half-life;
although I only had it occasionally, I don't want to wait a month to begin.
Thank you again for your help,
David

If following MMS protocols that use MMS1, use these charts.
