I first purchased the product years ago, maybe 2008 and at that time the mix was 5:1. It has since changed but I am still a little unclear on it. I went to UTube and find videos on there from 2009 still using 5:1 and comments saying no, no it's 1:1 etc. I feel like the old vids should maybe be pulled and I could use some clarification: if I have a bag of citric acid, I can mix it equal parts powder to water thus making my citric acid solution that I would then use 1:1 with another mixture of sodium chlorite mixed 1:1 with water. These 2 solutions will yield MMS or sodium chloride that I can then ingest after mixing and waiting or placing in capsule. There is soooo much information out there, but some is soooo outdated. Any help appreciated.Oh, and I used to try and take it but could hardly get past the taste, am hoping that has changed. Thanks! chrisg

The original recipe was 1 part MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite solution) to 5 parts 10% citric acid. That changed to 1 part MMS to 1 part 50% citric acid, although you still find both on the Internet. Today, citric acid is not recommended and instead 4% HCL is what the G2C suggests to use to activate MMS.

Citric acid is a big part of the horrible taste of MMS1 and some people can not tolerate citric acid at all, which can cause stomach problems. I suggest you throw away your citric acid and buy some 4% HCL. The mix is 1:1 MMS to 4% HCL. I am amazed that many sellers of MMS still offer citric acid. They should know better, but they don't keep up on the latest protocols.

Speaking of protocols, the latest ones are in Jim Humble's latest book, MMS Health Recovery Guidebook. You will find over 50 protocols and a wealth of information in the book.
