The diet for MMS has many conflictions. I believe some of the items you have listed are in High Vitamin "C" which I thought were to be avoided...Sea Weed(good stuff), peppers, melons.

Jim Humble has stated that if just having an alkaline diet would heal cancer, there would be no cancer.
The acid/alkaline issue is part of what I call the "food wars." People read about it, believe it, and then try to apply it in areas of their lives - and that's fine. But, I think food is as divisive as religion and politics -
However, worrying about acid/alkaline and trying to be "alkaline" can frequently make your MMS treatment not as effective. IMHO, you've got to make a choice about what you want to do and then stick with it, rather than a bit of this and a bit of that.

You MUST have been a diplomat in another life! Would you go so far as to say one may wish to consider the Vitamin "C" content as possibly the first priority in food selection while participating in a Protocol?

I can't go that far - because Jim Humble has stated that naturally occurring vitamin C in food has not been shown to negatively affect the strength of MMS.
THAT SAID - I, personally, if I'm dealing with a major issue (or major for ME) would keep high vitamin C foods away from my MMS - 2 hours after my last dose... But that's me, personally.
Rules and standards do change occasionally - as an example, it used to be just fine to take MMS with store bought juices, as long as there was no additional vitamin C or ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate. That changed recently to ONLY take MMS with juices produced at home - in other words, no store bought juices.
One thing my study of MMS has taught me is to sorta go with the flow - we're still learning a lot of things. I tend to look at what Jim Humble says as the way to go, because he has recourse to a LOT of people who are dealing with issues, and I might have recourse to only one or two.
