Well.....got so busy I forgot to update.
The 50-50 drops worked fine in the basement and also the garage.
I had little luck on the existing mold on the walls tho..
I may have to block the rooms off with plastic sheeting to keep the fumes concentrated.
But I have a cpl friends coming up to visit who are pretty handy, one of them has an ozone
machine which may really do the deed to the mold.
FWIW....I found out peppermint in water makes a good mouse deterrent. Just spray it along the baseboards and in corners depending on conditions. Also spray the outside perimeter of the house it will make them go elsewhere as it irritates their very sensitive sinuses. I suppose cheap tea tree oil will irritate their sinuses as well.
I also did a 2nd treatment of the garage using mms2 maybe 2 shot glasses full. It got the last of the mouse odor by the door.
I have to now spray the perimeter of the garage to keep them critters from setting up house. As I know there are none there now.
My next experiment will be using a closet to sanitize some yucky clothes with mms , prior to washing them to get the moldiness out of them as they were in the basement when it flooded. If successful, then I can launder them then donate.
If anyone has any ideas for a different strength of CDS or MMS for that matter to spray and get to that mold in plaster walls asap I'll appreciate any help I can get.
