Some much confusion re MMS

I have been on MMS for 69 days (70, if I count Day 0 when I was testing it for the first time) as I have been exposed to HSV.
There is some much conflicting info re MMS. I have JH's latest book and got a copy before I started taking MMS. However, some people say you can't eat this and you can't eat this.
Others say, you shouldn't dilute your DMSO topical application, others say dilute it, and from personal experience, I think it should be diluted (my lower back, neck, and butt crack are soooooooo sore).
What the MMS movement needs is some serious $$$ to undertake clinical empirical research to put all this confusion to rest.
I like to think of myself as an educated women and I am always willing to learn and the first to say "I really don't have a clue'. I am also open to the idea of listening to opinions of others and making informed decisions that is right for me.
I also feel it's necessary for one to do their own research especially matters where they may lack proper knowledge and info.
I have to admit that I have read some posts on this forum and followed the advice without doing my own personal research.
I have read that HSV lives in the spine but when I do my own little google research, I find that HSV resides in the nerves. If I am wrong....PLEASE SOMEONE CORRECT ME.
From my own little google research, I have found that HSV1 resides in 'Trigeminal Nerves'. These nerves are located near the ear and run into the face across the cheeks, and hence probably why have been having facial twitches in my cheek up until recently.
HSV2 resides in the 'Sacral Nerves' These nerves are located at the base of the spine and the nerves run into the butt cheeks, and hence why HSV2 sufferers experience lower back pain.
I go for my test in a week and I just hope all of these 69+ days have not been in vain, especially the last 21 days of applying undiluted DMSO to my skin.

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …

How to Test That Your MMS is Good
Published on: March 1, 2026
When activating MMS, it is very important that the drops of MMS and activator acid (note: HCl 4% [hydrochloric acid] or citric acid 50% is most commonly used as activator acid) turn amber color within the first 30 seconds. When we say amber, we are referring to a brown color. This can be anywhere from …
