What should I feed him besides CDS? was created by stumble
He turns 82 on June 3.

I am dealing with:
dementia
kidney disease
oropharyngeal dysphagia
weight loss

I feed him almond milk because it has no protein and little potassium so he can stay out of kidney dialysis. I add sweetened condensed milk so he doesn't lose too much wright.

He takes FDA medication for an enlarged prostate, blood pressure medication and baby aspirin to ease tension in his aortic aneurism, and medication to slow down his dementia.

To that I add 2 capsules daily of: black seeds, cayenne pepper, diatomacious earth, and I add one squirt of CDS into one shake.

To one milkshake (that's all he can take because of tongue and tonsil cancer) I add 7 drops (daily dose) of IVL Liquid Vitamin 528 and a duck egg.

IS there something else I should add?

Do you know of any lower protein carrier I could use that has less protein than regular milk and doesn't cost and arm and a leg?

My 1g of protein and 180 g of potassium was the best thing I could find. I was using rice milk but it was really expensive and even after I bought a rice milk maker it made the rice into porridge. His potassium had leveled out so I switched him to the less costly almond milk.

Sandy, I have a soymilk maker, and found that I had to strain my milk - I use a paint strainer - Don't know if this will help. Are you starting with soaked rice?

I sent it back. I just keep buying almond milk and thicken it with sweetened condensed milk. I used to use honey but that was acidic and his last blood test was one point into acidic. I feel like a juggler and the number of balls I have to juggle change as the blood tests happen.

I totally understand. After my gastric bypass surgery, I had bloodwork 3-4x a year, and each time had to adjust my supplements to compensate for the surgically induced malnutrition.

Soy products in the USA are over 90% GMO (bad, bad).
The $trillion dollar advertising campaign of the Soy industry and Monsanto is false and misleading the public.
Dr. Mercola website will give you the truth about soy products.
Check out Hemp milk for its quality protein concentrate, etc..

Sesame milk is ten times better than all these milks including cow.

Here is some nutritional information:
Natural sesame seeds (unhulled) contain 5 grams of protein per ounce, 3.1 grams fiber, and 14 grams of total fat.

Natural sesame seeds, those that are unhulled, are high in calcium. One tablespoon provides 87.8 mg while the hulled variety offers only 10.5 mg for that same tablespoon. Comparing sesame seeds to milk turned up some surprising figures in the calcium count. One cup of natural sesame seeds had 1404.0 mg of calcium, while one cup of non-fat milk provided 316.3 mg. and one cup of whole milk contained 291 mg of calcium.

Both natural and hulled sesame seeds contain healthy amounts of the B vitamins riboflavin, thiamine, and niacin. With natural seeds scoring 8.7 mcg of folic acid for 1 tablespoon and plenty of vitamin B6, you can count on sesame seeds for excellent nourishment.

Hemp?
• Rich in proteins - all 20 known amino acids
• These proteins are easy to digest - compared to soy which contains trypsin inhibitors that interfere with protein digestion.
• Perfect Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio
• Contains phytosterols
• Scientific Name: Cannabis Sativa - Hemp is not Marijuana
• Has potential cancer fighting agents
• It is a sustainable crop that matures 120 days after planting
• Hemp has played a crucial role in American history
• Great hope for America's economic future
• It's a vote for clean, green, sustainable and renewable
Hemp for Food
Hemp seeds are drug-free and extremely nutritious. They can be eaten whole, pressed into edible oil like soybeans, or ground into flour for baking. They are one of the best sources of vegetable protein. Hemp seed has the second highest amount of protein of any food. Hemp seed protein closely resembles the protein found in the human blood, making it easier to digest than soy protein. They contain a full complement of essential amino acids, essential fatty-acids (EFA'S), and have been shown to lower blood cholesterol and dissolve plaque in coronary arteries. As a supplement to the diet, these oils can reduce the risk of heart disease.

Hemp is a variation of cannabis sativa. It is the most useful plant known to mankind. In fact, cannabis sativa means useful (sativa) hemp (cannabis). Hemp is not marijuana.
