Hello fellow MMS-ers,

I am not a big drinker but I do enjoy an occasional glass of wine.
I have been on MMS for some 30+ days now and yesterday I had a glass of wine with my dinner.

I felt a little guity cos I'm not sure the effects it may have on MMS, but I was invited for Sunday dinner and I thought I would just have one glass of wine.

Can anyone shed some light on MMS and alcohol?

Regards

Hello Delite,

I have used MMS FOR 4 YEARS and occasionally have a glass of wine or something else. As long as I don't take it at the same time it has never caused a problem. The reason why I have never taken it at the same time is that I just can't mix the tastes of MMS and wine. So don't feel bad, no need to, better to enjoy it when you do.

Best wishes.

Hi! my name is Franko,
I have been taking mms since Dec.,'08.
I take mms three times aday!
I started taking it for my emphysema and to keep my immune system stronger.
and also to keep my blood clean from pathogens and virus.
I love my beer too.
no problems at all with my beer! 6-9 beers.when I drink.
I wish mms would make me sleep.

LOL...Franco....6-9 beers

No, I just want a glass of wine once in while. My limit would be 2 glasses.

Hi Delite

Yes , that is because antioxidants are found in wines. Wine antioxidants are found in the skin of the grape . Red wine contains largest amount of antioxidants while White wine have less concentration.
Since antioxidant neutralize the Efficacy of the MMS1 , simply give a gap of time of couple hours after taking MMS1.

Please note That antioxidants are not bad, on the contrary they fight against free radicals in the body , But since the issue is related to MMS1 which oxidize pathogens it is a better to avoid taking Antioxidants while taking the MMS1. So the task of the MMS1 is not nullified.

~Peace~

Hello,

I was also wondering about alcohol and mms and stumbled upon this forum thread. I was especially worried if I would feel sick... like throwing up, etc.

Since Franco mentioned he likes drinking beer, I just wanted to mention that beer contains potent antioxidant and is actually a "Better source than red wine, green tea or soy products". - www3.scienceblog.com/community/older/2000/A/200000241.html

In case of beer, it would be interesting to know how long these "prenylated flavonoids" stay in the system, considering that "The EtG Urine Alcohol Test detects ethyl glucuronide in the urine, which confirms alcohol ingestion as long as 3-4 days after intake, or about 80 hours after the liver metabolizes alcohol. The EtG test has become known as the “80 hour test” for detecting any amount of consumed ethyl alcohol." - www.addict-help.com/how-long-does-alcohol-stay-in-your-urine-system.asp

So my take on this: Beer or wine (as well as any other consumable containing antioxidants) will reduce or even nullify the effectiveness of mms while being in the system, and should therefor be avoided when treating anything serious.

In other words and in my case - cheers!
