ph 4.5 was created by cary7777
I know ph 5.5 is ideal for MMS - but I mixed mine today (in the same way) and got a 4.5 pH reading. Is this a stronger or weaker solution? Or is it not MMS at all? Thank you all in advance.

The mind is like a garden, if you do not cultivate it, you cannot harvest from it.

A bit of a cryptic question cary7777, as you are not specific. Where you mixing Sodium Chlorite 80% with distilled water to get your MMS? Or were you mixing MMS with an acid to react ClO2?
Sorry if I am off the point here, but detail helps.

Actually. I think MMS1, when mixed and activated, probably is around 4.5. That would be the norm.
The 5.2 would come with the addition of baking soda to "buffer" the mix to make it easier to take - and it needs, then to be between 5.0 and 5.5 (according to Dr. Ron, via email) -
People for YEARS have been using MMS1, activated, at the 4.5 (approximately) ph, and reaping the benefits for so many issues. I think you can do the 4.5 and have no problems at all.
Here's an intersting chart of fruits and veges and their ph.

Note that apples (an apple a day keeps the doctor away) is 3.0 to - in the 4's.

I was mixing sodium chlorite with lemon (1 to 5) and then adding the distilled water. The measurement was taken after the distilled water was mixed in...however Pam said 4.5 was correct for MMS1 so I am doing it fine - I just got confused with the baking soda addition - which I don't do....thank you.

Haha - pam, like you, I am an MMS1 fan (coz it is simple) and I strongly believe in its effects through trial and error.
The one thing I still battle with is the occational tummy upset with wind and sometimes diarrhoea. Even adding a pinch of Bicarb does change the taste but not the effect for me. So I am still of the presumption that I either ellimnate fungus of foreign bacterium's in the gut when this is going on.
@cary7777 - thanks for clarrifying for us...
