but i found this link www.alibaba.com/showroom/food-grade-calcium-hypochlorite.html

they say they are selling calcium hypochlorite 70% food grade

one of them says "pointed supplier for COCA COLA & PEPSI

I would guess the question would be, what are they using it for - possibly for cleaning - so 'food grade' there might mean 'ok to have around food' - alibaba is a bulk sale wholesaler - (by bulk, I mean tons, from China <G>
