Welcome, guarionex.
I have a couple of thoughts - you could go to using lemon or lime juice as an activator (it becomes alkaline in the body) - or you could add a small amount of baking soda - Dr. Neer's protocol for 24 drops, activated, is 1/8 of a teaspoon.

Don't know the protocol you're using or how long you've been on it or are going to be on it - but if it's 3 weeks or less, you might consider just "doing your best in terms of diet" and accepting a lower alkalinity for a short period of time.

so pam, you can add 1/8th of a teaspoon of baking soda to 24 activated drops to make it alkaline? then add your daily water (32 oz or 1l) and drink throughout the day? I use ph strips and always find my mouth is highly acidic after standard mms/citric acid mixture. Baking soda does not affect the mms solution in a negative way; only changes it from acidic to alkaline?

hello guarionex,

I have to ask you to explain your question to me. Activated MMS is neutral so what is your concern?

I really would like to give you an answer

Activate the 24 drops of MMS, add your daily 32oz water (I believe he said distilled), THEN add your 1/8 tsp. - and drink 4 oz an hour for 8 hours throughout the day.

According to Dr. Neer, you want the ph to be between 5.0 and 5.5 - he usually gets around 5.2.

Apparently as long as you keep the ph at this level, the MMS will be OK. Obviously at 5.0 to 5.5, it's still acidic, just not AS acidic as it was.
