Time is so fleeting. I remember the day I accepted "the calling" to be a pharmacist. Feeling totally inadequate I asked for God to help me in my endeavor and to take me and use me in someway. I remember the day so well because it was the same day that Secretariat won the triple crown. Little did I know that in a few short years I would be in pharmacy school near graduation and visiting Secretariat in his retirement on Claiborne farm near Paris, Kentucky. Secretariat came to greet me from the pasture where he was grazing and ate grass out of my hand. I remember my first impression. He did not look like so many race horses. He looked like a big boned work horse. Unbeknownst to all until his death and the subsequent autopsy he had a tremendously enlarged heart...to be continued and yes this is going somewhere...

The pool shock with the highest level of calcium hypochlorite that anyone I know has found is:

Poolife Turbo Shock, at 78% cal hypo. You can find many sources for it with a web search.

My source, so far, is National Discount Pool Supply
