I've used MMS both at room temperature and refrigerated. It seems to me that not only does the refrigerated taste better, but it causes less nausea and mucus, and I'm able to tolerate higher doses. Why is that? Chemically, it's the same thing regardless of the temperature, isn't it?
Yes, I'm saying I make a daily bottle and store it in the fridge and take it out of the fridge for hourly doses. Or sometimes I don't store it in the fridge, and that's when I notice the difference. I use 4% HCl. Any insight into why the difference in effect between the refrigerated and room temperature?
Tely, it could be that when your daily bottle is kept outside the fridge, activation continues throughout the day in the bottle. If kept in the fridge, there may be less or no additional activation making the CLO2 level less than when kept at room temperature.
I will presume that you follow normal activation practice by activating for 30 seconds in the bottle, then filling the bottle with water. If you are using something other than water such as a soft drink with citric acid, that could explain the difference.
As you may know, when MMS1 is made, only about 15% activation occurs and the rest of the activation may happen in a stomach with normal amounts of acid.
Thank you -- that sounds plausible. I'm using water -- no soft drinks, juice, etc. And I activate for 60 seconds. But it sounds like maybe the activation continues when it's not in the fridge, even though there's water in it by that point?
Good point! It seems, then, that it would be good if the instructions explicitly stated to be consistent about whether we keep it in the fridge or at room temperature after it's activated. Although I guess the instructions do say that optimally, it would be mixed fresh each hour. Can I ask -- what difference does it make to activate a new dose each hour vs. doing the whole day's worth in the morning, then letting it continue to "slow activate" in the bottle with water in it?
