Activating MMS1 drops with 4%HCl instead of 50%Ctiric acid. was created by Dirk
After reading the email 'Understanding the differences between MMS1 drops, CDS and CDH', I started to experiment a little. Indeed, it turns out that activating MMS1 drops with 4%HCl gives the highest chlorine content when it comes in contact with a HCL fluid with a pH of about 2, just like our stomach acid. When I checked the chlorine content the reading was very purple, meaning very, very high. You can also see it just looking at the color of the fluid. The color gets more yellow, green after adding the HCL fluid with a pH of about 2. I work in a big company wich has a lab of its own. I will ask the people who work their if it is possible to use their equipment so that I can get a very accurate idea of the chlorine content using different ways to produce ClO². Once I have the data I will post it. Must say that I am curious! By the way, this is the first time that I activated MMS1 drops with HCl. No upset stomach, no rumble in the jungle or whatever.

Hi Dirk. These tests,
MMS PPM vs Activation Time
, will give you an idea of how different acid activators work with MMS to produce chlorine dioxide over time. Btw, it is not chlorine gas that is produced, instead it is chlorine dioxide gas.
Citric acid can cause upset stomach in some people and is one reason to use 4% HCL.

So it's the citric acid within the chlorine dioxide that causes upset stomach? Well that takes the blame away from chlorine dioxide then (obviously chlorine dioxide is from sodium chlorite activated by citric acid).

Hi Dave,
I endured the bad smell and taste of MMS1 activated with citric acid for about 3 months only because it was so effective in giving my immunesystem a tremendous boost. I must say that there have been times that I was wondering whether I had a Herxheimer reaction or just an upset stomach. So after 3 months I switched over to CDS that I made myself. It seems to work pretty fine for me. If it wasn't for the recent newsletter from the church I would still be using it. Yesterday and today I have used MMS1 activated with HCl and what an improvement that is concerning smell and taste! I have thrown away the citric acid and made a large batch of 4%HCl. Even the dutch website where I buy the MMS1 has switched to HCl as the standard activator.

Dirk, if CDS is working for you, why not continue using it? Maybe the "newsletter" was incorrect?

Hi ClO²,
Maybe indeed the CDS is already working good enough for me taking into account the amount of pathogens I have in my body. Who knows? It is only because that I saw a higher ClO² content when adding an HCl solution with a pH of about 2 that I prefer MMS1 activated with HCL above CDS. The taste, smell and color don't bother me at all when using MMS1 activated with HCl. With CDS there is still a bit of bad smell, taste and color. By the way, I"m still using CDS to desinfect my hands, the bathroom, etc..
Bye, Dirk.

Hi DaveC,
Now I am on a maintenance protocol that I normally use every day of the week. I don't like to skip a day. I take 3 drops of MMS1 activated with 4%HCl, starting when I wake up. After an hour I take the next and last batch. After this I wait for about an 1 1/2 hour before I start with my supplements (vitamines, minerals, essentiel amino acids and the essential fatty acids). I can not take together an oxydiser and an anti-oxydant because they neutralize one another. So I start the day with a small detox followed by avoiding bad stuff and getting in the good stuff.
Bye, Dirk.

Recently i started mixing up four hours of mms with a pint of water so i don't have to do it four times... but a couple of times now i've added an extra drop of citric acid or mms by mistake. Do you know if this matters?
