Jim says in his book that after several hours the solution will turn clear like water. It's been almost 12 hours and it's not clear... it's got a slight pale color like coconut water. Is this normal and ok to use?

Thanks... that clears things up.

It's as you described... no sediment, just a slight pale yellow tint.

I used a digital scale and made my first batch at 100 grams... 72 g water, 28 g SC.
It seemed like there was too much SC for the amount of water when I was mixing it,
so it made me wonder.

I'm not sure if you are the same Steve, but I just received the SC on Friday way up North... so I may be
who you think I am

BTW, what mixing chart are you referring to ???
