Hello Juan,
Here's another way that I've found easier, To prepare one 4 oz. bottle of 28% MMS1
1~ In a small glass bowl, put 4 level tablespoons of sodium chlorite powder.
2~ Add 3 oz. of distilled hot water.
3~ Stir with a non metalic spoon until completely dissolved. Let it sit in this glass bowl to cool for 1 hour, and then pour off the liquid into your 4 oz. bottle. Dispose of residue, if any.
~You really shouldn't have any residue left, if it was thoroughly mixed with hot, [not boiling], distilled water.

Hi alfernandes. 15ml of dry 80% sodium chlorite + 48ml water = 25% Official mms is 28% of dry 80% sodium chlorite.

Hi hobo, the tablespoons are flat?
Edit:
you sayd:
1~ In a small glass bowl, put 4 level tablespoons of sodium chlorite powder.
Sorry, didn't pay attention

28 --> 100% de producto total
x --> 80% concentración clorito de compra
x=22.4
Por esa razón es que al hacer la mezcla, se utiliza el 28% del clorito comprado con concentración del 80% para obtener 22.4% real.
Cosa diferente si utilizamos un clorito con un 90% de concentración. Basta aplicar la misma fórmula.

Hola luzvida
22.4/.9 = 24.888 = 25 grs de 90% clorito de sodio seca + 75 grs de aqua = 100 grs de MMS1

So, after reading all I come to:
Final Vol / 2.927 = Chlorite needed
Chlorite needed *2.572(thank Paul)=Water needed
so, I want 500Ml -> 500/2.927=170.823 -> 170.8gr of Chlorite
water = 170.8*2.572=439.3
so -> 500ml wanted = 170.8gr of Chlorite + 439.3gr of water

Hi, jpsala. Note that it was 90% NaClo2 instead of 80%.
28% x.8 = 22.4% pure naclo2
25% x .9 = 22.4% pure naclo2
28% x.8 = 22.4% pure naclo2
25% x .9 = 22.4% pure naclo2
