Hi, I have just received a blood report that shows kidney stress. Apparently my electrolyte levels are very out of balance and this indicates kidney stress. I have felt some discomfort in this area lately. This result is since being on CDS and MMS2. My doctor has asked that I reduce daily fluid intake to 1.5 litres per day - she didn't know I am on MMS.
I would love to hear if this is normal while on MMS and what I can do about it.
Many thanks,
Mary

I received my blood test today and it also shows some abnormalities in kidneys. The following tests are high: EOS(absolute), BUN and BUN/Creatinine ratio. Also, the Glucose, serum is high, which I never had before. I did not take MMS for two weeks before the test (waiting for the test strips to begin taking CDS). Unfrortunately, my next test will be 3 months from now and I do not know what to do. Maybe the abnormal results have nothing to do with MMS but who knows?

How long have you been taking MMS for, Mabukh?

These posts are very alarming, especially to us new to this or already nervous about MMS! I do hope someone answers these people's concerns soon.

Mickey, I'll try to answer but the information has raised more questions for me than answers - not about MMS, per se. First, I can tell you that I have heard nothing about MMS causing kidney problems from Jim, his crew, or the other health ministers.

Electrolytes out of balance - doctor is diagnosing as kidney stress.

Jim Humble has stated that people who are doing the protocols should also do things things that nurture their health, take their vitamins and minerals, eat well, etc. Your electrolytes are in your minerals. I know that when you go on a high protein diet, your electrolytes can get out of balance, because you're peeing more than usual, but not everyone's does. Mine didn't - that I know of. And I did numerous high protein diets in my lifetime.

I also don't know if there is some preexisting kidney issues, or what other medications Mary or Mabukh may be on. It sounds as though the doc wants Mary to decrease her water intake (so her kidneys don't work so hard excreting electrolytes?) but is she supplementing them? Is she symptomatic? Here's some links on it. www.ask.com/questions-about/Electrolyte-Imbalance-Symptoms and www.ehow.com/how_2209175_identify-risks-factors-developing-electrolyte.html

I know that different people have different kidney functions - as an example, my endo doc at one point (before I fired him <G>) said I was excreting calcium in my urine and wanted me to lower my calcium intake. What he was missing (and what I now know) is that there is a D3, magnesium and K correlation, also with calcium - you need all of them. He was very concerned about possible kidney stones. I never had kidney stones. He informed me that 4% of the population had this problem. It took a 24 hour urine test to show it. This was 8 years ago.

If you're going to lower your water intake, I would suggest going off the MMS2, because you really do need the extra water with that. But, I don't have enough data (or all the variables) to really say what is causing the issue.

Mabukh, if you did not take MMS for 2 weeks prior to your tests, the issues should not be related to the MMS use. Do you have copies of all your lab work? Because of a surgery I had, I did first quarterly, then twice-yearly intensive bloodwork (including a bunch of vitamins and minerals) and kept every one of my lab work sheets, so that I could track shifts in the numbers. I remember at one point my primary doc getting very excited, saying "you've got to bring this down, you've got to bring this down" and me saying "OK, but how" and him saying, "I don't know, but you've got to bring it down." Can't remember which lab value was involved. Next labwork (I think he brought me back in in 30 days) it was normal. I hadn't done anything different.

One of the 'likely' (not just potential, but likely - although the surgeon never mentioned it) outcomes of my surgery was osteoporosis. I was too young before my surgery to have a regular dexascan, but I insisted on one anyway, even if I had to pay out of hand for it. I was glad I did, because I learned that I was ALREADY osteoporotic - even BEFORE the surgery.

So, although I've addressed the questions, I don't know that I've answered any questions. Does this mean 'I'm' going off my CDS? No. Am I worried for me? No. But I can't answer for you, your body, your conditions - wish I could - but I've found even the docs can't <G>.

I would say it may cause by MMS2 overdose... i have the kidney pulling feeling on the 4th capsule at one time... all you do is stop using it until symptoms gone... then do not go for the amount that make you feel your kidney cannot handle for sometimes... i do believed it is cause by some kind of diseases inside our body but not MMS2 that cause it.... there are too many symptoms from using MMS i seen but all will be gone when diseases is clear...

At one time... i get flu and i go for 4 capsule a day at every two hour but no more kidney problems.... i believed i will have no more symptoms from using MMS except some warm body feeling when in high doses for sometimes i just want to feel how my body able to take it....

Again... always remember to back off when symptoms appears... this is the general rules for MMS Treatments.... MMS work very fast... so resting a few days when symptoms appears... does not mean you will loose your chances to heal your body... unless for life threatening situations where live or die fight is on.. then we should act the other way round... if not... take your time... don worry.. heal slowly and you can win on lower dosage over a prolong periods.... let your body have sometime to flush it...

Recently i have my blood test which shown a perfect kidney and liver functions.. together with very strong immune systems... i am now only take it on and off periods... no more doing any protocol...

Hard to say, Paul, haven't had a dexa (nor properly supplemented) in over 3 years. I know, bad me. I probably really need at the very least a dexa and PTH test. It does not appear worse, just based on looks alone.
