I have tried MMS for 3 weeks, taking it hourly for 8 hours a day just as protocol 1000 calls for. At the end of this 3 weeks, I found the experiment to be unsuccessful. I do believe that MMS works. What I doubt is, my mixing ability. How do you properly make a 50% citric acid solution for MMS? What all do I need to avoid while taking MMS. No carbonated drinks, no vitamin C added drinks, no caffeine etc. I also take MMS in gelatin capsules to bypass the taste. Why has it not worked for me? What am I doing wrong? I am so anxious for MMS to help ME. It is aiding in the healing of so many others that I am so very anxious for it to work for me as well. There are many other people that I know personally who need MMS. If it will work for me then I want to help these other people as well. Please help with any information you can give me. Thanks so much!!

Youngbeliever what are you taking the mms for, what symptoms/illness? If you were taking 3 drops at a time, hourly for 8 hrs/day you definitely should have had some powerful effects.

When you properly activate the mms, then the mms/citric acid mix should turn yellow and smell like chlorine dioxide. When using the 50% citric acid this should happen within 20 seconds of mixing the two. If you are getting the yellow and the smell, then it is working.

I make my own citric acid 50% solution. I am using pharmaceutical grade citric acid powder I bought in a 50 lbs bag. If I mix 1 cup of the powder and 1 cup of water, then it is pretty close to a 50% solution. To make an exactly correct 50% solution, you need to weigh the water and the citric acid powder and use the same weight amount of each. But if you just measure equal amounts of volume, it is close enough in my experience. I actually use about 10% more powder by volume than the water if I weigh the two out.

If you do this, it should work. You could try increasing the number of drops for each dose. Eventually you'll get nausea or diarrhea from die off/detox. Keep us posted.

Hello All

I saw subscribed to this site after searching about the 50% citric acid solution. I've just made some from pharmaceutical grade powder and I'm continuing the treatment. I have previously been using 5 drops of lime juice per drop of MMS. After now just getting the 50% citric acid I notice a distinct difference in the smell of the solution after activating for 20 seconds, compared to the lime juice citric acid.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is this normal? Both solutions give off a pool water chlorine like smell but the 50% solution smell seems to be much stronger and different.

Any input would be great to make sure I'm on the right track.

Hi DeeBee, and welcome to the forum!

What you are describing sounds normal. The 50% citric acid creates a much quicker activation which means it puts off more chlorine dioxide gas quicker. It will even turn brownish when you wait a little longer. But the lime juice never gets that strong of an activation.

Thanks Michael.

I've been doing the Protocol 1000 with the hopes of eliminating a host of issues mainly being chronic pain in my back, shoulder and neck muscles as well as chronic fatigue and herpes virus.

I've been using 3 drops of MMS per hour for 8 hours a day for a week now, but still haven't experienced any nausea or diarrhea. I have experienced a reduction of overall pain though.
Wondering if I'm taking enough or maybe need to do the protocol 2000.

Any comments you have would be appreciated.
