That seems complicated since you will not know how much water you need to add, and then you would have to measure again the single dosages.. does it has any relevance if you use distilled water for the process with the bicarbonate.. Is it just as good to use normal pure water?.. but to keep of course the ph at 7 when mixing.

Thanks a lot for your answers!

Thanks, Dr. Ron - I think that where some of the confusion has occurred is that when Jim came out with the information that 25 drops = 1mL, people started measuring the drops from THEIR droppers - and some got 17, some got 20, etc. - and then there were those who were using the old blue/green bottles with flip caps, and sometimes the drops were huge, sometimes small, sometimes they wouldn't come off the cap until they came off all at once in a stream. I think that what you're seeing here is people who really want to be sure they are "doing it right" - We appreciate your patience, and your desire to make it as easy as possible. I think that at some point, everyone will be on the "accu-drop" or controlled drop bottles, and there will be no more confusion. (well, at least about drops, LOL) (Not to mention the fact that US measures are not the same as European measures in terms of drps ad teaspoons, etc. <sigh>)

Regarding my earlier testing strip question - did you all use the strips or the tabs (paper that comes in a roll)? I'm looking at Amazon and it looks like the roll ones (Hydron by MicroEssentials) or strips by Phinex are the majority of those offered.

I ask because I'm not on city water, I'm on filtered but untreated (has been tested) well water, so don't have the same issues - plus, I'd like to avoid distilled water if at all possible. So, this information will be of use to me.

ok

you want to use pure water, distilled, RO, bottled any good water that has ph close to 7 when mixing with the activated mms

then if you need a better taste to tolerate mms and want to use something other than the 1/8 t baking soda and are wanting to use your alkaline water than you will have to get ph test strips and add it after activation and 4 oz the good water added until ph 5.2

you will not need to measure single doses again if you mix it up a quart at a time.

I think you might want to follow the instruction given and then just drink your alkaline water throughout the day.

each person should drink their weight in lbs divided by two in ounces of water a day. ie if weigh 200 lbs should drink 100 ounces water day

there are many ph test strips out there. we like to get the ones that have a limited range in the ph area we are working with like 5 to 8 or what you find. you want your target ph in the middle of the range to have best accuracy and NOT in a wide range like 1 to 14

it is usually strips but rolls can work also. cole-parmer.com is one such company. I just googled ph test strips and got many results other than amazon. here are the first page search results. might read them easier if you do the search

In order to make it easier for patients, I wonder if you can do the following conversion:

1/8 tsp =? Caps size 0

In this way could provide people of baking soda capsules already prepared. In South America it is difficult to get measuring spoons.
