FYI
to all
i have taken cds for 3/4 months at a high dose since i don't have any side effects or rather hertz effects like with activated mms but i do thinck i did get a side effect from it and it is cataracts i read that cataracts are due to the oxidation of proteines that are in or on the eye lence i know it could be just a coincidence but i have the feelling that it is the cds i stop cds over a month ago and it did not get better yet i have a question for any one who likes to give his / her opinion, here i go : since cataract are due by oxidation what do you thinck if i would make a very strong green tea with distilled water let it cool down and use it as a eye wash since green tea is an antioxidant ?????? anyone !!!!!!!

I too would be very interested in any information about what to use for cateracts and for dry macular .
I have used 4 activated drops of mms in 1/2 cup of distilled water a number of times but not noted much difference , perhaps I've expected improvement too soon . My wife put two drops in each eye with a glass dropper . It did sting for a second or so , but nothing to worry about .

hi bezajohn
i don't thinck it is a good idea to use mms or cds when it comes to eyes in general chlorine dioxide is a oxidant witch is exactly the cause of cataracts

We've been discussing on the humble_mms mailing list about using DMSO for cataracts. I doubt that cds has given you cataracts. I've used it since November and have had no change in my cataract growth. I had them prior to the CDS, and had eye tests last month. No change.

Were you tested prior to starting the CDS protocol?

Cataracts are a normal part of the aging process, Cyrille. Could it be catching up with you?

Too many variables to say that CDS "caused" your cataracts. I'd have to see it happen with a lot more people before I'd think that was possible. For one thing, there are two types of oxidative processes, one that can cause "oxygen damage" to cells, but the type that MMS is actually strips an electron from anything with a lower oxidative potential which is just pathogens and heavy metals (and body tissue all has a higher oxidative potential). It then attracts that electron back to itself and literally self-destructs. The oxygen then is basically inactivated - it cannot affect any other cell. It does not combine with any other cells to cause problems - which is what we hear of as free radicals. The process that chlorine dioxide uses to oxidize does not create free radicals.

JH writes: "Some write-ups by inexperienced chemists state that the oxygen ions coming away from the chlorine dioxide molecule are nascent oxygen (extremely active oxygen), but that is not true. These oxygen ions have already been discharged, the same as the oxygen in carbon dioxide." - so, in essence, the oxygen ions are - as Jim has said somewhere else - "dead" <G> They are not nascent oxygen, which has a much higher oxidative potential, and what the big hoo-hah has been about, telling us to get out anti-oxidents.

hi Pam
you said you been discussing using dmso for cataracts , can you please share with us the outcome of your discussion ?
i don't pretend knowing more then you guy's i just ad 1 to 1 , if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck ,walks like a duck chances are it is a duck
i also said that it may be just a coincidence because yes i am right at that age one would get cataracts but my vision before i started cds was totally clear now it is foggy ?
and in my internet research all results say that cataracts are caused by oxidation ? coincidence ? i don't know for sure one way or the other
but i don't want to get in a long argument/discution about it since i don't know i just like to get some answer that can help me and others

No problem. The conversation is in the last few days on the humble_mms yahoo group.

This was a post on June 4, so the thread is like 3 days old. I don't know if the messages are open to the public.

Yes, Susie, DMSO can help with cataracts. There was a testimonial about it here and also information about it in my book "DMSO, Nature's Healer," by Dr. Morton Walker.

There was a flurry of posts on the 4th and 5th, and one last post on the 6th. Nothing today.

We're not getting into a fight, I was just pointing out where your reasoning might have gone astray. Ducks and geese both quack. <G> (although in the air, they call the geese sound honking) BTW, it usually takes years for cataracts to fully develop.

Pam and 'the pope cyrille'
Thank you both for your kind replys to my question ,
I have faith in the MMS , because I have been using it for general well being and I feel far better then I did twelve months ago . I'm 78 by the way , so I guess it's old age catchinng up with me .
My wife has cararacts developing and I have dry macular and thought that people out there just might have some protocol that they are using which is having some success that we could both use . I have tried 4 activated drops in 1/2 cup of distilled water with two drops of this mix in each eye for a short time , at night time, i.e, for (2 weeks ) , it did sting slightly , but nothing to worry about . I just might have expected too much too soon , so that's why I posted the request for further information .
God bless all involved and special thanks to Jim for bringing MMS to the publics attention .
Once again , many thanks to you both

A friend of mine had a viral infection in his eye for 6 months or so. Had continuous flare-ups every other week of couple of days duration. He was on pharma drugs for 5 months with no change. It only made the duration and frequency of the flare ups more consistent.

He eventually decided to try MMS with distilled water as eye drops. His viral infection was gone after only two applications within a week time. He haven't had a single flare up since (past half a year). Spoke with him a month ago he is healthy with no eye problems.

He went to the Ophthalmologist for a checkup and asked about Chlorine Dioxide and how come it helped. The doctor said they have tested it with one of their colleagues who had cataract (also using eye drops). They were able to stop it's progress and eye sight was restored.
