If you have an adverse reaction , cut the dose in half for the next dose but don't stop. Keep cutting the doses in half until you can manage without an adverse reaction. Paul, do I start new posts or do I just stay with this one and ask the questions as I go?

Also what do you mean work at getting your body ph up, were should the ph be? is there a way to test this.?

Tap water is around Ph7 and beleive it or not all bottled water is very low Ph and are acidic. Cannot off hand remember exactly. The only thing I have ever heard of which is 10,000 times more potent than chemo is Graviola. Baking soda in a glass of water is very alkaline being a Ph of 9.You can buy PH strips from a health shop to test your urine and saliva first thing in the morning.Test the urine Ph 1/2 way through your pee. Suck all the loose saliva out of you mouth and swallow it before sticking the Ph paper in."

Sorry all, my computer has been playing up and hard to login.

Thanks for you help!

I have started with mms done 3 drops an hour for 8 hours, done this for two days then I did a 4 drop an hour for 8 hours started getting headaches, and feeling a bit light on my feet.

I managed to get hold of a device that reads your blood pressure and have found that when I am on the mms, I have a higher than normal blood reading. I have an average blood pressure of about 109/70 with a heart rate of 66. I think the normal is 120/80.

Today I mixed 40 drops mms and activated it with 40 drops of acid. I have a lt bottle that I have marked out evenly at 8 measures.

I am trying not to eat at all while I am, taking the solution, I have a good Breakfast and Lunch and start my 8 hrs about 2 hrs after lunch.

Do I take more water each time or just stick with the water in the solution I make?

If I eat food between doses can this affect the outcome?

I am just going to have another my second one for the day and then I will take my blood pressure test and write it in under this report.

Blood pressure reading.

I took a reading before taking my next hr dose so I was at the end of the last dose. 108/64 heart rate 66

Just had a 5 drop dose of mms in 100 mls of water.

I took my reading after taking my hr dose and it was 128/75 with a heart rate of 67

I just took another reading 10mins since taking the mms 108/66 heart rate 61

Just thought this might help someone.

Hi Wasa.

Thanks for your participation.

Head aches might be caused by MMS killing pathogens which are also released as poisonous gases having being broken down in your stomach for example and the gas is raising to your head causing headaches.

Part of the healing process can involve feeling a bit off as your body uses its energy to destroy and eliminate pathogens and wastes.

You may add more water to the premixed solution or simply try and drink more water after taking your hourly dose, simply drink as much water as your body needs and a bit more, to get wastes out of your body water is required, you want all poisons to get flashed out.

Eating food between doses should not effect the outcome.

Basically it is said that with an acidic body diseases can flourish and with a alkaline body diseases cannot flourish.

I like to think of all hardcore diseases as cancers now, like they say there is 30 odd AIDS defining diseases are they all really AIDs defining, I call them all cancers one way or another it is the breakdown of immune system, call it what you want, I just wanna kick its a... and they all look bad to me and cancer sounds like a bad thing, but it really is all about nutrition, oxygen and exercise, diet....

I thank you for your help guys,

I was blown away by the information about PH ZnzMagic good topic to read about and your right the world needs to know about this as do they need to know about the mms, I looked up coffee and now realized this is another favorite pass time that has to go, it has a ph of 4 so is very acid and will not help my cancer problem. I have taken up green tea instead and believe this will be alkaline to the body and very good for someone with cancer. I have so much research to do, if I am going to beat this cancer.

If anyone has any comments or has a list of foods that will combat cancer than please add to this feed and if you have a do not eat list please add that as well.

Anyone reading these post do not want to wait months after studying and going insane trying to keep all that info in their head.

A couple of questions guys,

Can I put the baking soda in the daily mix and will this have an effect on the mms?

I seem to get a higher temperature after taking the mms is this normal?

Also at the 5 drop dose and 4 days into it, I have a tight tummy and a bloated tummy, as I wanted to start the 10 hour cycle today or the protocol 2000 for cancer. Should I wait a few more days should I cut the daily dose to say 3 drops an hour and wait it out or push on and stop being a Mona Lisa.?

This is my opininion only

My father had his partially removed, along with the radiation yrs ago. Now that I see what he goes thru with his bowls as an elderly man, if it were me, I would cancel my appointment and tell them that I will call at a later date to resqedual. You just talk to the desk to do that. You don't have to explain. Since you have 5-10 yrs, you have plenty of time to make the MMS work. Jim says most are cured in a matter of weeks. This is what I am doing with my cervical cancer diagnosis.

Cancer Fighting Foods/Spices

The National Cancer Institute estimates that roughly one-third of all cancer deaths may be diet related. What you eat can hurt you, but it can also help you. Many of the common foods found in grocery stores or organic markets contain cancer-fighting properties, from the antioxidants that neutralize the damage caused by free radicals to the powerful phytochemicals that scientists are just beginning to explore. There isn't a single element in a particular food that does all the work: The best thing to do is eat a variety of foods.

The following foods have the ability to help stave off cancer and some can even help inhibit cancer cell growth or reduce tumor size.

Avocados are rich in glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that attacks free radicals in the body by blocking intestinal absorption of certain fats. They also supply even more potassium than bananas and are a strong source of beta-carotene. Scientists also believe that avocados may also be useful in treating viral hepatitis (a cause of liver cancer), as well as other sources of liver damage.

Broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower have a chemical component called indole-3-carbinol that can combat breast cancer by converting a cancer-promoting estrogen into a more protective variety. Broccoli, especially sprouts, also have the phytochemical sulforaphane, a product of glucoraphanin - believed to aid in preventing some types of cancer, like colon and rectal cancer. Sulforaphane induces the production of certain enzymes that can deactivate free radicals and carcinogens. The enzymes have been shown to inhibit the growth of tumors in laboratory animals. However, be aware that the Agriculture Department studied 71 types of broccoli plants and found a 30-fold difference in the amounts of glucoraphanin. It appears that the more bitter the broccoli is, the more glucoraphanin it has. Broccoli sprouts have been developed under the trade name BroccoSprouts that have a consistent level of sulforaphane - as much as 20 times higher than the levels found in mature heads of broccoli.

Carrots contain a lot of beta carotene, which may help reduce a wide range of cancers including lung, mouth, throat, stomach, intestine, bladder, prostate and breast. Some research indicated beta carotene may actually cause cancer, but this has not proven that eating carrots, unless in very large quantities - 2 to 3 kilos a day, can cause cancer. In fact, a substance called falcarinol that is found in carrots has been found to reduce the risk of cancer, according to researchers at Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences (DIAS). Kirsten Brandt, head of the research department, explained that isolated cancer cells grow more slowly when exposed to falcarinol. This substance is a polyacethylen, however, so it is important not to cook the carrots.

Chili peppers and jalapenos contain a chemical, capsaicin, which may neutralize certain cancer-causing substances (nitrosamines) and may help prevent cancers such as stomach cancer.
Cruciferous vegetables - broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage contain two antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin that may help decrease prostate and other cancers.

Figs apparently have a derivative of benzaldehyde. It has been reported that investigators at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research in Tokyo say benzaldehyde is highly effective at shrinking tumors, though I haven't seen this report. In addition, the U.S. Department of Agriculture says figs, which contain vitamins A and C, and calcium, magnesium and potassium, may curtail appetite and improve weight-loss efforts. Fig juice is also a potent bacteria killer in test-tube studies.

Flax contains lignans, which may have an antioxidant effect and block or suppress cancerous changes. Flax is also high in omega-3 fatty acids, which are thought to protect against colon cancer and heart disease. See Budwig diet for a specialized diet using flax seed oil and cottage cheese. Garlic has immune-enhancing allium compounds (dialyl sultides) that appear to increase the activity of immune cells that fight cancer and indirectly help break down cancer causing substances. These substances also help block carcinogens from entering cells and slow tumor development. Diallyl sulfide, a component of garlic oil, has also been shown to render carcinogens in the liver inactive.

Studies have linked garlic — as well as onions, leeks, and chives — to lower risk of stomach and colon cancer. Dr. Lenore Arab, professor of epidemiology and nutrition at the UNC-CH (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) schools of public health and medicine and colleagues analyzed a number of studies and reported their findings in the October 2000 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. According to the report, people who consume raw or cooked garlic regularly face about half the risk of stomach cancer and two-thirds the risk of colorectal cancer as people who eat little or none. Their studies didn't show garlic supplements had the same effect. It is believed garlic may help prevent stomach cancer because it has anti-bacterial effects against a bacterium, Helicobacter pylori, found in the stomach and known to promote cancer there.

Grapefruits, like oranges and other citrus fruits, contain monoterpenes, believed to help prevent cancer by sweeping carcinogens out of the body. Some studies show that grapefruit may inhibit the proliferation of breast-cancer cells in vitro. They also contains vitamin C, beta-carotene, and folic acid.
Grapes, red contain bioflavonoids, powerful antioxidants that work as cancer preventives. Grapes are also a rich source of resveratrol, which inhibits the enzymes that can stimulate cancer-cell growth and suppress immune response. They also contain ellagic acid, a compound that blocks enzymes that are necessary for cancer cells - this appears to help slow the growth of tumors.
Studies show that consumption of green and yellow leafy vegetables has been associated with lower levels of stomach cancer.

Kale has indoles, nitrogen compounds which may help stop the conversion of certain lesions to cancerous cells in estrogen-sensitive tissues. In addition, isothiocyanates, phytochemicals found in kale, are thought to suppress tumor growth and block cancer-causing substances from reaching their targets.

Licorice root has a chemical, glycyrrhizin, that blocks a component of testosterone and therefore may help prevent the growth of prostate cancer. However, excessive amounts can lead to elevated blood pressure.

Mushrooms - There are a number of mushrooms that appear to help the body fight cancer and build the immune system - Shiitake, maitake, reishi, Agaricus blazei Murill, and Coriolus Versicolor.

These mushrooms contain polysaccharides, especially Lentinan, powerful compounds that help in building immunity. They are a source of Beta Glucan. They also have a protein called lectin, which attacks cancerous cells and prevents them from multiplying. They also contain Thioproline. These mushrooms can stimulate the production of interferon in the body.

Extracts from mushrooms have been successfully tested in recent years in Japan as an adjunct to chemotherapy. PSK is made from the Coriolus Versicolor. Maitake mushroom extract is PCM4.

Nuts contain the antioxidants quercetin and campferol that may suppress the growth of cancers. Brazil nut contains 80 micrograms of selenium, which is important for those with prostate cancer. (Note: Many people are allergic to the proteins in nuts, so if you have any symptoms such as itchy mouth, tight throat, wheezing, etc. after eating nuts, stop. Consider taking a selenium supplement instead or work with someone on how to eliminate this allergy.)

Oranges and lemons contain Iimonene which stimulates cancer-killing immune cells (lymphocytes, e.g.) that may also break down cancer-causing substances.

Papayas have vitamin C that works as an antioxidant and may also reduce absorption of cancer-causing nitrosamines from the soil or processed foods. Papaya contains folacin (also known as folic acid), which has been shown to minimize cervical dysplasia and certain cancers.

Raspberries contain many vitamins, minerals, plant compounds and antioxidants known as anthocyanins that may protect against cancer. According to a recent research study reported by Cancer Research 2001;61:6112-6119, rats fed diets of 5% to 10% black raspberries saw the number of esophageal tumors decrease by 43% to 62%. A diet containing 5% black raspberries was more effective than a diet containing 10% black raspberries. Research reported in the journal Nutrition and Cancer in May 2002 shows black raspberries may also thwart colon cancer. Black raspberries are rich in antioxidants, thought to have even more cancer-preventing properties than blueberries and strawberries.

Red wine, even without alcohol, has polyphenols that may protect against various types of cancer. Polyphenols are potent antioxidants, compounds that help neutralize disease-causing free radicals.

Also, researchers at the University of North Carolina's medical school in Chapel Hill found the compound resveratrol, which is found in grape skins. It appears that resveratrol inhibits cell proliferation and can help prevent cancer. However, the findings didn't extend to heavy imbibers, so it should be used in moderation. In addition, alcohol can be toxic to the liver and to the nervous system, and many wines have sulfites, which may be harmful to your health. Note: some research indicates that alcohol is considered a class "A" carcinogen which can actually cause cancer - see www.jrussellshealth.com/alccanc.html. You should probably switch to non-alcoholic wines.

Rosemary may help increase the activity of detoxification enzymes. An extract of rosemary, termed carnosol, has inhibited the development of both breast and skin tumors in animals. We haven't found any studies done on humans. Rosemary can be used as a seasoning. It can also be consumed as a tea: Use 1 tsp. dried leaves per cup of hot water; steep for 15 minutes.

Seaweed and other sea vegetables contain beta-carotene, protein, vitamin B12, fiber, and chlorophyll, as well as chlorophylones - important fatty acids that may help in the fight against breast cancer. Many sea vegetables also have high concentrations of the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and iodine.

Soy products like tofu contain several types of phytoestrogens — weak, nonsteroidal estrogens that could help prevent both breast and prostate cancer by blocking and suppressing cancerous changes. There are a number of isoflavones in soy products, but research has shown that genistein is the most potent inhibitor of the growth and spread of cancerous cells. It appears to lower breast-cancer risk by inhibiting the growth of epithelial cells and new blood vessels that tumors require to flourish and is being scrutinized as a potential anti-cancer drug. However, there are some precautions to consider when adding soy to your diet. Eating up to 4 or 5 ounces of tofu or other soy a day is probably ok, but research is being done to see if loading up on soy could cause hormone imbalances that stimulate cancer growth. As a precaution, women who have breast cancer or are at high risk should talk to their doctors before taking pure isoflavone powder and pills, extracted from soy.

Sweet potatoes contain many anticancer properties, including beta-carotene, which may protect DNA in the cell nucleus from cancer-causing chemicals outside the nuclear membrane.

Teas: Green Tea and Black tea contain certain antioxidants known as polyphenols (catechins) which appear to prevent cancer cells from dividing. Green tea is best, followed by our more common black tea (herbal teas do not show this benefit). According to a report in the July 2001 issue of the Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, these polyphenols that are abundant in green tea, red wine and olive oil, may protect against various types of cancer. Dry green tea leaves, which are about 40% polyphenols by weight, may also reduce the risk of cancer of the stomach, lung, colon, rectum, liver and pancreas, study findings have suggested.

Tapioca is derived from the cassava plant. It is one of the many plants that manufactures cyanide by producing a chemical called linamarine which releases hydrogen cyanide when it is broken down by the linamarase enzyme. Spanish researches have been studying the cassava and attempting to clone the genes from the plant which are responsible for producing the hydrogen cyanide and then transfer it to a retrovirus. However, funding for the project has run out.

Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that attacks roaming oxygen molecules, known as free radicals, that are suspected of triggering cancer. It appears that the hotter the weather, the more lycopene tomatoes produce. They also have vitamin C, an antioxidant which can prevent cellular damage that leads to cancer. Watermelons, carrots, and red peppers also contain these substances, but in lesser quantities. It is concentrated by cooking tomatoes. Scientists in Israel have shown that lycopene can kill mouth cancer cells. An increased intake of lycopene has already been linked to a reduced risk of breast, prostate, pancreas and colorectal cancer. (Note: Recent studies indicate that for proper absorption, the body also needs some oil along with lycopene.)
Tumeric (curcuma longa), a member of the ginger family, is believed to have medicinal properties because it inhibits production of the inflammation-related enzyme cyclo-oxygenase 2 (COX-2), levels of which are abnormally high in certain inflammatory diseases and cancers, especially bowel and colon cancer. In fact, a pharmaceutical company Phytopharm in the UK hopes to introduce a natural product, P54, that contains certain volatile oils, which greatly increase the potency of the turmeric spice.

Turnips are said to contain glucose molaes which is a cancer fighting compound. I haven't confirmed this.

Consumption of fruits and vegetables has been associated with decreased risk of cancers of the colon and rectum.

Introductory caveat

Adelle Davis used to say that she never saw anyone get cancer who drank a quart of milk daily, as she did. She stopped saying that when she died of cancer in 1974, leaving behind her a trail of ten million books and a following that was large, devoted, and misinformed.

She was trained in dietetics and nutrition at the University of California at Berkeley, and got an M.S. degree in biochemistry from the University of Southern California in 1938. Despite this training, she promoted hundreds of nutritional tidbits and theories that were unfounded. At the 1969 White House Conference on Food and Nutrition, the panel on deception and misinformation agreed that Davis was probably the most damaging source of false nutrition information in the nation. Most of her ideas were harmless unless carried to extremes, but some were very dangerous. For example, she recommended magnesium as a treatment for epilepsy, potassium chloride for certain patients with kidney disease, and megadoses of vitamins A and D for other conditions... Two-month-old Ryan Pitzer was even less fortunate. According to the suit filed by his parents, Ryan was killed in 1978 by the administration of potassium chloride for colic as suggested in the same book. The suit was settled out of court for a total of $160,000-$25,000 from the publisher, $75,000 from Davis's estate, and $60,000 from the potassium product's manufacturer. After the suit was filed, the book was recalled from bookstores, but it was reissued after changes were made by a physician allied with the health-food industry.”

After this introductory caveat meant to illustrate that there may be more nonsense or (sometimes dangerous) half-truths spread in the field of nutrition than in (m)any other field(s) of human exploration, here is a collection of findings on nutrition and health which strives to be more scientifically sound. Diet after all does seem to play an absolutely pivotal role in both health maintenance and recovery. Often dietary improvements and physical and environmental detoxification alone will heal a person of serious and less serious disease, while sometimes (much) more will be needed for healing cancer and other illness (and for the latter, see for instance Emotions, Healing Cancer & Your Mind, Spirituality, Energetics, Geopathic Stress Solutions and Herbs & Supplements.)

The importance of living raw foods for health - a short introduction

Everything else is hardly worth eating. If we do this we can stop using drugs and even supplements because our food has become our medicine."

Why Raw Food?

Raw food for everyone?

According to the ancient healing system of Ayurveda, raw food while beneficial to some is actually toxic to many others. On the other hand, I know of an Ayurvedic physician who disagrees with this stance and considers that an Ayurvedic mostly cooked food diet will lead to a state of less-than-optimum health in the long term. He himself is on a largely raw food diet and feels that gradual detoxification will enable a person to eventually thrive on a largely raw food regimen including wild herbs and natural plant-based mineral and trace element supplementation..

Let us now take a look at Sri Lanka to see what is so different from the US, Canada and the Western world in general.

Sri Lanka is a densely populated island with about 19 million people on 25.300 sq. miles, and an average population density of 739 people per square mile. Sri Lanka's major national production consists of agriculture, forestry, tea, gems, raw rubber and rubber products, and the average household income is SL Rs 116,100 (U.S.$2,600). About 23% of the population live in the lightly industrialized (clothing and accessories, gems, rubber products) five major urban centres, and about 73% live in the rural areas, in villages which merge with one another, each a conglomerate of homestead gardens interspersed with tracts of rice paddies. This means that the large impoverished rural population raises all of its own food, and much of the country's food. As is typical of underdeveloped and developing countries - which cannot afford modern farming methods, equipment and fertilizers - they grow their food by the traditional methods of hand cultivation and fertilization by returning all life wastes to the soil. And the latter, incidentally, returns to and maintains the complete natural spectrum of the 72+ trace elements in the soil and, consequently, in all of their daily food. And this is the major cause of the Sinhaleses' extremely low cancer rate and general robust health.

The far lower cancer mortality and lower incidence of other physical and mental diseases among the Sinhalese is even more significant since hygiene among the crowded rural population is a far cry from what we are accustomed too, and refrigeration is practically entirely absent. Their immune systems put ours to shame by a long shot [Sinhalese death rate per 1,000 population: 5.9; world average: 9.3].

The extremely low death rate of the Sinhalese would be much lower yet if so many weren't killed by violence and food poisoning (38.6% per 100.000, and the second leading cause of death). The high rate of food poisoning is due to poor hygiene and the absence of refrigeration in a tropical climate.

It remains to be said that the typical diet of the Sinhalese consists of 95% grains (chiefly rice), vegetables and fruit, and of 5% seafood and meat.

We can also eliminate the notion that the Sinhalese are blessed with unusually healthy genes. The Sinhalese are a rich and varied mix of the original inhabitants (now almost extinct), of 4th century AD settlers from Northern India (predominant), with a long continuing influx of Tamils from Southern India, a 10th century influx of Moors from Northern Africa, an 11th century influx of Javanese political exiles (nobles and chieftains), and in the 16th century, of Javanese (also Balinese, Tidorese, Madurese, Sundanese, Bandanese and Amboinese) soldiers and convicts from Java under Dutch rule - along with a varied admixture of genes from the 5 centuries long succession of Portugese, Dutch and Englisch colonial empires.

That genes are not a factor is further underscored by the almost as low incidence of disease and cancer among the Chinese and Japanese (the second and third lowest in the world by far). And if it were not for the significantly higher rate of stomach and liver cancers (and particularly so among Japanese males), the cancer mortality of these two vast populations would be as low as that of the Sinhalese.

Most significantly though, these two countries also still predominantly practice a traditional agriculture which returns all life-wastes to the soil, and with it, the full natural spectrum of the 72+ trace elements. Consequently, most of their daily food also contains the 72+ natural trace elements. In China in particular, the 6 thousand year-old tradition of returning all life wastes to the soil is so deeply ingrained that it is practised more strictly than any religion. For the great majority of Chinese farmers it is the only fertilizer there is.

We can also eliminate industrial pollution as a major factor. Owing to the fact that Japan is the 3rd largest economy in the world, yet is one of the smallest and most densely populated countries of the world, Japan is the most heavily industrialized country in the world, with all the environmental consequences thereof. Modern in every respect, the Japanese are also subject to the consequent air and environmental pollution, as well as the chemical contaminants in the the wide variety of plastics which are now so pervasive in our lives.

Yet, and only with the exceptions of stomach and liver cancer, the cancer mortality and incidence of disease among the Japanese is almost as dramatically low as that of the Sinhalese. (The incidence of Alzheimer’s, for instance is 5.4% in Hawaii vs. 1.5% of the population in Japan - source: "The Hawaii - Japan Study", Journal of the American Medical Association).

Altogether, these three countries comprise more than one third of the world's population, a combined population of over 2 billion which exhibits the lowest cancer and disease rates in the world, and in many instances, and with few exceptions, dramatically so. And I fully expect that India has a similar disease and cancer rate to that of Sri Lanka - practically all of the same conditions apply - but I could not find any figures. Apparently, India does not yet track these statistics. If India should prove to have a similarly low incidence of cancer and other diseases as that of Sri Lanka - as one may fully expect - then we are looking at about half of the world's population whose incidence of cancer and diseases is dramatically lower than that of the Western World.

Finally, and since about 1/2 (including India) of the world's population has dramatically lower cancer and diseases rates than the Western world, we must now ask why our health sciences have not jumped on this long ago and figured out what makes us so much sicker - and kills so many more of us. And particularly so - given these diverse cultures - since the cause can be isolated so easily, and since the remedy is so simple, so ridiculously cheap and, as these diverse cultures demonstrate, so supremely effective.”

Some may object that the above observations do not take into account the major lifestyle and probably stress level differences existing between the two countries. While this is true and general perceived stress is likely to be much greater in the US, there still remains the fact that cancer mortality in the US has risen from 1 in 50 to 1 in 3 over the last hundred years, with stress alone being an unlikely candidate or causative agent to account for such a dramatic increase.
So while there is a much lower incidence of cancer in Sri Lanka pointing indeed to a (trace) mineral/vitamin deficiency coupled with toxin onslaught (pesticides, drugs, etc. etc.) as a major causative agent of cancer in the Westernized world, there still IS some cancer occurring in this healthy people. Unless all those stricken by cancer in Sri Lanka were alcoholics or otherwise deviating strongly from the healthy diet enjoyed by the vast majority of the populace, this would be another clue pointing to the likelihood of cancer being multicausal, i.e. having different or several causes. The findings of Dr. Joel Wallach

On his tape entitled: "Dead Doctors don't lie", Dr. Wallach, BS, DVM, ND., a veterinarian doctor, says, "Every animal or human that died of natural causes died of a mineral deficiency".
Symptoms of mineral deficiency according to Dr. Wallach:

Calcium deficiency: Facial muscles are sagging, osteoporosis sets in. The following also develop, according to natural pre-dispositions: heel spurs, kidney stones, calcium deposits, cramps and twitches, PMS, lower back pain. Arthritis is osteoporosis of the joint ends of the bones (in 80% of all cases).

Chromium deficiency: Man develops 'Pica' an unnatural craving for chocolate, sweets and other substances such as pickles, dirt etc.

Bismuth deficiency: Heals ulcers (Helicobacter pilori) together with some tetracycline (antibiotic). You can also use Manuka honey.

Selenium deficiency: Together with Vitamin E, Beta-carotene and Selenium, more than 13% of all cancers can be cured according to a Chinese study. This also cures cardio-myopathy (heart attack) and 'liver' spots.

Boron deficiency: Kidney stones are symptoms of a raging calcium deficiency. This condition is quickly cured with addition of calcium (please, not calcium carbonate), magnesium and boron. Addition of this mineral also helps regulate testosterone and estrogen hormone production.
Copper deficiency: Ruptured aneurysms, a ballooning of blood vessels, a weakening of the fibers of arteries, strokes - can always be cured by the addition of copper. Gray hair also disappears then.

So do vericose veins and sagging body parts.

Chromium and vanadium deficiency: Low blood sugar, diabetes.
Tin deficiency: Male baldness
Zinc deficiency: Loss of smell and taste. Loss of male libido.
Salt deficiency: Hypertension (high blood pressure) in conjunction with calcium supplementation.
Consider this: The addition of rare earth elements (lanthanides) doubles the life-span in animals.

A rich and inexpensive source of all known minerals and trace minerals is seaweed. Organic food due to the way it is grown will also be a richer source and contain minerals and trace elements in a balanced ratio, in contrast to conventionally grown food.

... if my information is correct, a placebo effect generally is relatively short-lived and 'wears off' as the user 'forgets' and the mind-induced benefits are replaced by reality-based body needs. There is no question that the mind has a monumental effect on one’s body and in many cases can override the actual situation, at least temporarily.

Here is an observation based on my own experience that shows the importance of mineral nutrients in our body. When I received my chemistry degree (so many years ago) my first job after graduation was at the Riverside Citrus Experiment Station (part of the University of California). My duties at that time were to monitor (by chemical analysis, etc.) a study on "The Effects of Trace Minerals on Plants".

At this facility, they had literally hundreds of greenhouses in which the air, water, temperature, humidity etc. were carefully controlled and monitored. The various plants under study were planted in sterile sand and were 'fed' through a 'solution' that contained every element known in concentrations approximating sea water (without NaCl {salt}). The plant growth and the 'health of plants' in the control green houses was phenomenal. This method of plant growing is referred to as "hydroponics".

At this facility, they had a large water de-ionizing unit in which all mineral elements were removed (less than parts per billion of each) resulting in incredibly pure water. Solutions were made up from this water source by adding pure mineral compounds. In this way they could have solutions where the mineral contents could be altered and certain elements eliminated.
For example a solution could be made up that duplicates sea water without zinc. The results of this experimental deficiency could be monitored and studied. In almost every case the elimination of any element had a significant impact on the health, size and shape of the plants being studied. (Too much of any element also caused problems too.)

The point of this story is that I don't think that a plant is prone to the placebo effect. And if plants are influenced by deficiencies in their diet, it follows that our bodies require those elements also.

2 Seaweed

Seaweed in its various forms is a time-honoured natural staple food particularly in Japanese cuisine. It forms an important part of the macrobiotic diet which is credited with a number of health and healing benefits, even in cases of cancer.

Seaweed is a cheap and complete source of all known minerals and trace elements found in the oceans and the richest source of assimilable minerals on the planet (and therefore highly recommended by me).

Seaweed and other sea vegetables have been a "major player " in chelating (detoxifying) excess ionizing radiation & destructive radioactivity from the body (see Combatting radiation poisoning tips).

Some of the positive effects of seaweed may in fact be attributable to its high iodine content:

• iodine supplementation for instance has a suppressive effect on tumor formation and growth (with suppressed tumors showing a higher iodine content)
• high iodine levels reduce the risk of prostate cancer by some 30%
• iodine deficiency leads to dysplasia (alteration in shape, size etc. of adult cells), a potential precursor of malignant changes in the breast
• iodine deficiency increases breast tumor size and makes cancer cells more aggressive
• low iodine induces a hyperestrogenic state
• iodine is an essential ingredient in the Gerson approach as well where patients are administered thyroid and lugol's solution (lugol's is iodine plus potassium iodide).

With all its positive qualities, seaweed can also contain heavy metals (seaweed is actually used as a bioindicator for heavy metal pollution because of its recorded ability to accumulate heavy metals in its cell walls). So when buying seaweed, it may be wise to enquire about its origin.
Seaweed should be available in any health food store. It can also be purchased in Chinese and similarly specialized food stores. I have been warned, however (by a company who provides health food stores with seaweed), that seaweed from Chinese etc. specialty stores may be unsafe since they don't do quality controls re levels of heavy metals contamination.

Some more info and 5 tips how you can easily integrate seaweed into your diet:

Tip 1: Purchase the ”cleanest” seaweed you can find, grind it up in your blender, pour the resulting blackish powder into a salt shaker or other dish and mix it with some sea salt. Use this mixture as you would normally use salt (in case you do use salt, if you prefer not to use it, simply use the seaweed powder straight as a condiment for a rich daily supply of minerals and trace elements).

Tip 2: For reasons of possibly better bioavailability of the minerals, try to get raw-processed seaweed (but don't fret if you can't).

Tip 3: I sometimes add spaghetti-like seaweed (the one I mostly buy has the natural sea salt still attached to it) to cooled-down noodle dishes or blend it in the blender together with raw vegetables, for instance in a Budwig mix base.

Tip 4: Smaller amounts of non-salty and bland seaweed such as dulse and nori can also be blended into sweet (fruit-based etc.) dishes prepared in a blender. They enrich it while leaving virtually no taste “imprint” in the dish.

Tip 5: For numerous recipes with seaweed, you could purchase a macrobiotic cookbook, try out macrobiotic recipes or look into Japanese cuisine.

Cancer Cell Killing Nutrients in Vegetables and Fruits
Raw foods build the immune system, but many fruits and vegetables also have nutrients that kill cancer cells and/or stop the spread of cancer. While the term "raw food" means food eaten without cooking, in the context of a cancer diet, a "raw food" diet is a vegan type of diet, where the vast majority of fruits and vegetables that are consumed are known to kill cancer cells, directly or indirectly. In other words, to fight cancer, do not use a random selection of uncooked vegetables and fruits, but a very selective subset of vegetables and fruits specifically selected to treat cancer because there are food diets perfectly capable of curing cancer. All you need is a juicer and perhaps a food processor.

A few of the cancer cell killing nutrients (direct or indirect) in vegetables and fruits:

• Raw carrots (alpha carotene, beta carotene, Vitamin E, etc.)
• Raw broccoli (sulforaphanes/isothiocyanate)

It should be added that there are thousands of phytonutrients (i.e. nutrients from plants that are not otherwise categorized) that have not yet been isolated and studied. In other words, there may be hundreds of phytonutrients that kill cancer cells, but have not yet been identified and tested.

Juicing Vegetables and Fruits


Juicing makes the nutrients in a fruit or vegetable more digestible, meaning more of the nutrients are extracted from the vegetables or fruits. Also, you can consume a lot more vegetables (particularly vegetables and fruits with cancer killing nutrients) in a shorter amount of time and with a lot less effort. Juicing is an excellent way to consume your fruits and vegetables. The bad thing about juicing is that the nutrients are not extracted sufficiently from the seeds or skins of some key vegetables and fruits. If you are eating a food where the seeds and/or skins contain key cancer fighting nutrients (e.g. purple grapes), you should not use a juicer for these foods, but rather a food processor or a hand grinder, to grind the seeds and skins to make mush.

Details About Individual Vegetables and Fruits

Use fruit and vegetables for juicing that have the best cancer-killing nutrients. Probably 80% or above of the vegetable or fruit juice should come from these fruits and vegetables.

RAW fruits you should focus on are: Purple grapes (with skins and seeds), red raspberries, black raspberries, strawberries, and other non-citrus fruits, with their seeds, especially apples, peaches and apricots. Actually, any fruit with dark blue or dark purple coloring is acceptable, such as blueberries. Raw pineapple is especially good. Tomatoes also have cancer fighting nutrients.

RAW vegetables you should focus on are: Carrots (between 1/2 quart and 1 quart daily, depending on your weight and severity of cancer), cabbage (between 1 head and 2 heads daily), green asparagus, broccoli, red beets, beetroot, cauliflower and related vegetables. Peppers also have cancer fighting substances. The spice turmeric can be added as well.

Carrots, like virtually all vegetables, have hundreds, if not thousands, of phytonutrients that have not yet been identified or tested for cancer-fighting abilities. A word of warning. In reading the testimonials of people who have been on these diets, the diets were not successful until they went on a total, 100% raw food diet. As long as the raw food diet was less than 100%, nothing worked. This does not preclude mixing a raw food diet with other cancer diets, what it precludes is mixing a raw food diet with items not on the "Ten Commandments" list (cancertutor.com/Other/RuleOfThumb.html). Going on the "Ten Commandments" diet will take care of this problem automatically.

Additional advice

If you use peaches or apricots, break open the hard shell in the middle and extract the seed, which looks like an almond. Save this seed and put it in your food processor or simply eat it, even if you are on a juice only week.

Exercise is critical to these diets, partly because these diets don't have the transport agents. Also, since you are building your immune system, exercise will help the lymph system and the circulatory system.

A Raw Food diet does kill cancer cells, but it primarily works by building the immune system. It is a superb treatment for someone with several months to live, particularly if they have not been on chemotherapy, but for those given a shorter time to live by doctor’s diagnosis it should be supplemented with a treatment that primarily kills cancer cells without the immune system.
