Hi all,
I've been using and learning all I can about MMS since early June; but, I haven't seen anything regarding MMS assisting in the recovery of stroke patients. Someone very dear to me has had a series of severe strokes. I understand that MMS works primarily by attacking pathogens; and, pathogens aren't a factor in strokes. I've also read where it helps dissolve plaque build up (a major cause of strokes, as I understand it); and, is a tissue oxygenator; so, I'm thinking that it MIGHT help in repairing damage. Has anyone heard of anyone who's been helped? Would there be a risk of potentially causing further strokes as the result of dissolving plaque "breaking loose"? I'd like to do what I can to help him; but, I don't want to take a risk of making things any worse for him.

I know it cleans out heavy metals and pathogens can definately be a cause amongst other causes for heart diasease. MMS works well on viruses and the bad bacteria causeing diasease. Cleaning up plaque i dont know but I am sure some else here may shed a bit more light. Dr John Christopher said he never lost a patient who had a heart attack if he was given a tea spoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of warm water asap. He also said for a stroke victom exactly the same and the recovery from the stroke is greatly speeded up if given early. For plaque / angina I have used "heart drops" from 'MH barefoot herbalist'
Bare foot has the cheapest and in my opion the best heardrops. You can goggle up Angioprim and Strauss heart drops and read the info and testimonials on it.
If I had had a stroke today I would be taking a teaspoon a day in a glass of water as i beleive I wont have another stroke or heart attack. Cayenne is excellent for the blood. Cayyenne is food for the heart. Hope he doesnt catch fire taking it.
PS, The cayyene you but from the shop is not strong enough but will do to start if that is all you have.Reasearch on J Christopher regarding strokes. You will find it somewhere.
PPS, I have used barefoots heart drops and after taking 200 ml of the 400 ml bottle I strated to notice a big difference.

Thanks Woofy,
Unfortunately, I learned about cayenne about a month after he had his strokes. :( I did go out and buy some after that, to have it in my first aid kit. If I get the opportunity to do so, I'll definitely follow your advice for the prevention of future strokes! He's always liked hot stuff, anyway. Right now, he's "in the clutches" of the MIC; and, he'll have to make quite a bit of progress before I'll be physically able to care for him. If he can get enough cognitive function back to be able to take MMS on his own, though, I could slip him a kit - IF it would be safe for him to take with plaque build-up problems.

The brain is an incredible instrument. We were taught, aeons ago, that once all the various "growth spurts" were done, then there was basically no change, except of a slight decline as we age. We now know that is not true. Neurogenesis continues on through life, and when one area is damaged, other areas can take over - HOWEVER, a lot of "modern medicine" is still going on the old paradigm, where they pretty much park stroke victims <sigh>. You may find a book by Dr. Normal Doidge (yes, there's an odd 'i' in there) fascinating - it's called The Brain that Changes Itself

Although his first example is from the 50's - most of the research in this area is fairly recent.

Good luck!

MMS will not help in strokes.... but it will help the person to prevent further diseases beside the strokes.... i have a patient that improved in her overall health but not the existing strokes improvement....

Strokes can be help using DMSO as when it happen... basically in between one to two hour times... there are books for it called as Nature Healer...if not mistaken...

Thanks Edwin,
I plan to research that, too. :) I want to be a LOT more prepared, in case it happens again!
Any ideas of anything that might help the recovery, once the damage has been done?

When in the DR, Jim talked in great length regarding DMSO and stroke victims. He suggested that giving small doses after a stroke would help to improve the side effects caused by the stroke itself. I would suggest you write him and ask him specifically in this regard to see if he could better direct you.
Both times that I visited I concentrated on his guidance regarding MMS and I did not take great notes regarding DMSO. Sorry. Mark is also very well versed where DMSO is concerned so you might want to contact him as well.
Good Luck and God Bless You.

Thank you Deana. :) I'd have replied sooner; but, I've been going about 19 different directions lately; and, staying in a state of total exhaustion. I've also been spending a lot of time trying to go back over everything I read back in June, when I was trying to cram as much info. into my sleep deprived brain as I possibly could, trying to save my fur-kid with cancer; and, in the meantime, glossing over a lot that didn't seem to relate to that.
