I've been on mms for 4 months and for the last week been in a lot of pain with my back and hip joints. I am only able to take 1dp x8 over 8 hours because of herx and because am chronically ill for 40hrs with possibly Lyme. Have tried lowering dose but doesn't make much difference.  Is it just a matter of hoping the mms clears this out.  Anyone been through this.

J10Davis, I am currently struggling with lower back hip joint and all muscles below the lower back,..> pain !
So I know exactly what you are going through !
Today, I took 5 drops every hour, 6 times(30drops) during the day and I can only believe that your herx is perhaps because your mms was prepared with something other than HCL 4%
I lay down(went to bed), at 19:00 and had to get up 22:00 due to the pain.
I so hope that this MMS will somehow help, but I read somewhere in this sea of information(many books), that I will need to get hold of DMSO to use in combination with the MMS.
I live in south africa and got hold of a website...> ancientbiblicaloils.co.za/DMSO-dimethyl-sulfoxide-p411266805  , they sell 500ml for ZAR500.00 and hopefully they will answer my question tomorrow, about the product ingredients(whether any other products were mixed in), with their DMSO.
So, hopefully we can keep contact?
Rob.

Yes l do take hydrochloric acid with my mms so it's not that. I have gradually got worse with the pain in my hips, so have temporarily ome off mms and at the moment on the Salt  C protocol which is not so brutal on me although am still having herx but coping but no more excruciating pain in my hip or back that l can't cope with.

It's still early days all trial and error but it helps a bit.

I can't think of why MMS/CD would cause pain with your back and hip joints.

I've never seen this complaint / issue before. Or anything similar.
(and I have done WAY too much research and study and reading about all of this ---
but, you can't read everything everywhere, of course)

I've also never seen anyone unable to not stop herxing EVENTUALLY with 1 drop of MMS/CD,
which is a pretty low dose, and then increase. Usually over a fairly short amount of time.

I know "everyone is different" and all, but it makes me wonder if something else is going on.

Maybe you have a mold/fungus issue and need to take care of that with a Bentonite Clay Protocol.
(certain molds & fungi can interfere with MMS/CD and make it not work or not work as well)

And DMSO is a pretty good anti-inflammatory, which usually really helps with most forms of pain.
(not all forms of pain are inflammation-based, but pain can cause inflammation and make pain worse)
If you are herxing, you probably shouldn't take DMSO _WITH_ the MMS/CD.

But you CAN take it by itself. Just drops in water. On the half hour should be fine,
and before and after the 8-hour dosing period. I do that sometimes with my back and neck pain.
And it usually works pretty well, although mine, although chronic, isn't at the "need to take a pain pill" level yet.

I follow Jim Humble's "MMS Health Recovery Guide Book" protocols for the most part,
and glean ideas for additional / alternative usage and such there.

Maybe more people will post some more helpful information.

I have a full replacement hip joint on the hip that is causing me the pain on MMS, l would think a lot of pathogens have gone there as there normally is some sort of inflammation going on, so due to herxing and toxins dieing off.  I have undiagnosed lyme disease.  Have been sick for most of my life and it has devastated my body and gone into every part causing huge damage.  I have only been treating myself for lyme for 4 years and in that time have slightly improved so know l am on the right track.  Previously l have Treated for mold just incase and have rifed for 4 years as well. I ha ve probably still got years of junk to ins to eliminate so have to go very slowly. I even herx on dmso, Cs and turpentine, if l ever get better it will be a miracle.

DMSO in SA is cheapest at www.dmso.co.za. But they recently had to double their prices due to costs, so everything you see is double now.

5 drops is a lot. Is that what you started with, or did you work up to that?
Protocol 1000 is a max of 3 drops.

Are you trying to fix something specific or just a clean out?
