It seems to be somewhat flexible what you can put in or leave out a homemade black salve. I just finished a good read on black salve(s). Most important message I got out of it is that bloodroot has systemic properties, meaning bloodroot can go and eliminate the problem on a larger scale than just the spot one intends to treat. Depending on the total volume of cancerous tissue in the body, this can potentially cause massive die-off and real bad herxheimer reactions. Once blood root has been applied and started doing it's thing, the process cannot be stopped -is my understanding. This may be why Jim Humble says one should not stop using MMS (orally) while using black salve.marti wrote: I hope to find all the ingredients
The article contains quite some more good info on black salve treatment and possible ingredients: www.cancersalves.com/pdf/CS-Introduction.pdf

So not really without risk and in need of some more education I guess. But not really scared either. If you have cancer you use what you've got and go from there. Mainstream medicine is no option after all, not for me anyway..

Is the cream applied very thinly and only to the affected area, or can it be applied a little more to healthy skin?

From one black salve seller Jim Humble recommends, I read that topically applied black salve w/bloodroot does not only pull out skin cancer, it can go after internal cancers in the process as well. If this would happen then the topical treatment may become more like internal treatment (black salve taken orally).
In that case liver and kidneys will need to be able to process al toxic waste released in the process.
Jim Humble recommends to first do all cancer related MMS protocols. If that is not sufficient then add black salve (orally) as a last resort solution. I think by doing the MMS first you enable liver and kidneys to handle a potential pile of dead cancer debris better.
Bloodroot is said to be especially good at detecting cancers far from where it was initially applied on the skin. This was demonstrated in the video as well.
If you are sure you have only some minor skin cancer then bloodroot is not an issue. Hidden internal tumors being destroyed by surprise could become an issue for compromised livers and kidneys. So if you don't know what you have inside then either drop bloodroot, or do MMS cancer protocols before and while doing black salve.
Apparently you can leave out bloodroot or replace it with some other herb.

Only affected area yes. Healthy skin should not be affected a lot. About the size of half a pea I read somewhere. If larger areas you can treat a bit at the time.marti wrote: Is the cream applied very thinly and only to the affected area, or can it be applied a little more to healthy skin?

If the recipe says Zinc Chloride (ZnCl2) then it should be close to 100%. Because ZnCl2 is what it is. Had Zinc Chloride not been close to 100% pure then it would have had a different chemical formula and/or specification (example Sodium Chlorite 80% + 20% stabilizing salts)
So I'm going to look for as pure as possible Zinc Chloride. 99% or so. It will be strongly diluted when making the product.
