Marti, that looks very good. Seems like normal healing is happening now. You could apply some CDS with a Q-tip, but probably not necessary. Watch what happens next. I would expect the hole would begin filling in and in a few months time, you may not be able to see any scar.

Q-tips or cotton swabs, the things we aren't supposed to use to clean out our ears! Saturate one end with CDS and apply topically. Do the same with another for DMSO.

10 days after starting treatment with CDS, the condition is very nice:

I have another one on my back, it's bigger- once bigger.
I will have to lubricate this lying on the bed, otherwise the CDS will not stay on the skin.
It would be easiest to put cotton wool soaked in CDS, but then the skin burns ..
how do i tackle it, put up soaked cotton wool for 15 minutes- every hour?

I had something similar on my back a few years ago. I used black salve on it. Took 29 days before the thing fell off. Today there is no sign of it, no scar.

what does that mean you think CDS won't help?

I had a neighbor apply the black salve because I could not do it. So, I only needed help one time, whereas if I was using CDS, I could not apply it a few times daily myself.

CDS should work if you can reach back there and apply it.
