So, I can buy 25 kg of this TSP for about $220 - which I am thinking is worth it to buy and just sell off some of the excess.
I am kind of assuming because its food grade, that its going to be ok -
does it seem ok?
White odourless granular and free flowing
Conforms to ; FCC11 and JECFA Standards.
Well, after buying my 1 kg of tri-sodium phosphate for $60, from a NZ supplier -
he at first was giving me confused information about whether it was anyhydrous or dedecohydrate -
in the end I found out its anyhydrous;
and its the exact same trisodium phosphate I would have been buying if I had bought a sack of 25kg, for the realm of $220-$280-
in other words I am paying $60 for something someone buys for about $10,
Still, I don't mind - it has been an adventure in trying to figure it all out and learning more about the differing TSP's
In the future though, I think I would buy a sack and flick some off to interested friends!
I have started taking it - 1/8tsp a day internally with some baking soda and vitamin C,
and as a gargle - 2 tsps. TSP + 6 T baking soda in about 600ml water.
The TSP tends to clump when you put it in water, I find you need to stir it quickly, and for a time, to dissolve it properly.
I will update with results as I see them..

I gave up on having all off the minerals dissolved. To me the 6 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate seem over the top. I reduced it to 3 tablespoons and still not everything dissolves. Any minerals left on the bottom should mean the solution is saturated and good to go. It dissolves when adding more water later on. I dissolve the trisodium first and add the bicarbonate after.
I read people take 1 gram doses of trisosodium phosphate 4-5 times a day before endurance events. Other than better results there appear to be no side effects. You can clean the bathtub with it as well
Ah good, thanks for that;
I was thinking to lessen the baking soda too, because there is a lot of it settling at the bottom of the jar - and as you say,
the solution is already saturated in that case , so there is no point to all the extra.
Thanks for the heads up re endurance performance too - I will try that kind of dosing before a hard mountain hike and see
how it works.
The TSP mouth-washing recipe I have been using, 330 ml water + 1 level tsp of TSP + 3 level tbsp baking soda will eventually dissolve both ingredients into the water, if I place the glass bottle in another container of hot water. Takes a few minutes. They stay in solution after that.
Just for those not aware of it yet; the consumption of bread and grains and seeds in general can mess up the utilization of both phosphorus and other minerals. Both because of
and possibly because of
Both phytic acid and glyphosate are known to grab on to minerals outside of its own molecular structure, making these minerals unavailable.
In addition the fat-for-energy keto-diet is a performance enhancer in its own right. No blood sugar ups and downs and less toxins floating around in the blood. All helps
