Hello, I am desperately searching for a way to help my amazing Mother, who has been in increasingly terrible pain for the last couple of years & is suffering greatly. Thanks to a long history of sport (particularly netball), she now has painful arthritis in both knees (which doctor's want to replace) & agonising back & sciatic pain, due to Spinal Stenosis. Ironically, being fit & healthy her whole life is now the reason she is suffering so much. Despite decompression surgery around a year ago, countless procedures (nerve blocks etc), physio, pain gadgets, numerous alternative treatments, supplements & various medications, nothing has brought her relief. She has always been a tower of strength, emotionally, physically & mentally & it is heartbreaking to watch her fading away to a shadow & feeling that there's nothing I can do about it. It's so very sad - I have even taken her for spiritual healing & I spend every spare moment looking for new things to try, as I refuse to give up & I am determined to find an answer somehow.

I have a serious health issue myself & I have gone the alternative route, including MMS, which is an amazing product that I'd now hate to be without. As it has helped reduce my pain (amongst other symptoms), it seems nuts not to try it on Mum's issues & she has agreed to this. I guess she is so miserable that she will literally try anything at this stage, which is why I am posting here. I am appealing to the wise ones here, for some advice on what & how would be the best way to utilise MMS (or anything else) for Mum's issues. It would really help if I could get some knowledgeable assistance with this please, then I can research, order what we need & prepare to move in with her for a few weeks, so that we can give it a really serious try & I can be sure that everything goes as it should.

I realise that I'm biased, but Mum really is a very special person & watching this decline is beyond heartbreaking. In the last couple of years, she has lost her Mother, Husband & Sister & all that grief has taken a toll. It's my turn to be there for her, but to really make a difference, I need your help please. Sorry this is long - I'm too worried to sleep much - not ideal. If you made it this far, thank you so so much in advance.

To stop knee pain we have to walk perfectly, which means - stand straight in front of a mirror, do her knee caps point straight on - dead ahead? or do they look cross eyed or to each side? If they are not pointing straight ahead then that is the cause of the pain. Foot Smart magazine sells "cants", they are silicone pieces that lift your heel to the right or left and correct your knees. They work!!! In the meantime she can walk concentrating on walking on the outside of her feet (if knee caps point inside), and walking on inside - if knee caps point inside. Pain will instantly go away.

Swanson's vitamins sells a glucosamine which actually words... most do not work - I've tried a dozen types - MicroLactin Glucosamine Joint Complex with Hyaluronic A works! I've given it to many people and they all agree. For some reason when chlondrotin is added - it does not work.

Has she been to a chiropractor? or a physical therapist? Does she have a new good bed?

Best wishes

Edwin is right - start by getting and reading Jim Humble's newest ebook, MMS Health
Recovery Guidebook
here .

The book talks about pain relief and also recommends the book Pain Free by Pete Egoscue .

If you search online, you may find some videos by Pete Egoscue.

Inclined Bed Therapy (IBT) may be helpful. They have a section on sports injuries.

Also, here is just one article I found on drinking adequate water for pain relief: Relieve Joint Pain with Good Old-Fashioned Water
