I've been taking MMS for only 4 days (today will be the 5th day) with so far no symptoms at all. Well, except for yesterday and today a one-time diarrhea each day. I don't want to give TMI (too much information), but today was 'explosive' in lack of another word. And I saw some things floating on top in the bowl. The best I can describe them (I only took a quick glance as I'm rather squeamish by nature) like pieces of skin. Now i know they're not skin, but I was wondering, could it be parasites or something nasty expelled?

But I think the real question that I want to ask is should I go slower with the dose? I don't do the full 1000 protocol, I'm only about 5-6 hours on it for 3 drops each, so for a total of max. 18 drops. Should I go back a notch or is what is happening a good thing as it cleanses my body? What do you suggest? And again, that's the only effect I have, there is no nausea or headache or stomach ache (so far) at all.

As a sidenote, of course, I always knew what the smell of chlorine is, but ever since I've started with MMS, I really feel the smell every time I wash my face or touch the tap water. That faint chlorine smell is really there. Never realized it before (the only place I could smell it before was at the swimming pool) I guess I am now rather sensitive to the smell due to taking the MMS and gosh, I'm almost disgusted to was my face in the tap water as the smell is there and I don't like it :)

Could have been parasites, or parasite skins.

Since I have not the faintest idea what you're treating, I can't recommend dosing based on that. Typically we say to keep the dosing under the herx level. which may mean dropping back a bit - maybe a half a drop an hour. But, again, without information, it's hard to say.

I'm betting what you saw was mucas.

And yes, I would decrease dosage.

Thank you both, I started today with 3 drops, but then went back to 2 drops per hour. I'll see how tomorrow will develop and go back even further down if necessary. The thing is, I don't have any other adverse reactions to it, except for the loose BM. I am usually not scared of it though, because I am used to high doses of vitamin C as per the Linus Pauling protocol, sometimes I even do the vitamin C flush, but since for me MMS is new, I did wonder.

I'm trying to sort out a few things in my health and am hoping that the MMS would help. A small lymph node above my neck, lower abdominal pain (IBS, as well as a newly discovered ovarian cyst), a thyroid nodule (although for thyroid I also take iodine). And finally (although this is the smallest of the reason) I got curious about it, having read so many positive reviews. I figured if anything can help me get better overall, this should be it.

You can back easily down to as little as 1/8 of a drop an hour (i know people who have started with even less) - see what happens at 2 drops an hour - I don't know if you're doing the VitC, but it is contraindicated while doing the MMS dosing. Douching and enemas will probably help with the IBS and also the ovarian cyst. In the YouTube MMS testimonials, you'll find one from Kashambra who treated her ovarian cysts.

You may have had a Herxheimer reaction (diarrhea) or it is possible that you had a reaction to citric acid if that is the acid you are using to make MMS. You could try making MMS using 4% HCL.

You mentioned taking high doses of Vitamin-C and having diarrhea. That can be eliminated if you buy or make liposomal Vitamin-C.

Pam, I still take vitamin C, but a few hours well after I finish with my mms course. I've read somewhere on this site that it should be taken at least 2 hours apart, so that's what I am doing. I do take less, however, now than what I was taking before starting with mms.

JB13, many thanks for your insights, I've been making it for the last 2 months based on the Brooks Bradley method using non-GMO lecithin, and I have no diarrhea at all. I just remember how it was before doing the liposomal vitamin C, was difficult to stay just at the bowel tolerance level. I still do at times to vitamin C flush, howevr.

As for the acid, I"m using HCL as activator for the MMS, that's what came in my kit, so I never used anything else before.

Rev Ray, I've actually started to do the castor oil method, along with also rubbing castor oil on my lower abdomen. Also been doing (evenings a few hours away from MMS) blackstrap molasses with ACV, apparently these three things give good results in many with this problem.

Btw re. the diarrhea, this morning I had none, so it seems the 2 drops per hour seem to do the trick. I'll be keeping at this for a little while before slowly going back to 3 drops.

Btw just read the 2014 douche protocol and I've read that it clears the lymph system. I'm wondering if would help getting rid of the lymphatic nodule that I have. Will have to incorporate an mms douche as well.
