It's the first time I've heard of a potato diet, interesting. Just for fun, I've attached the painting of the potato eaters by Vincent van Gogh.
For a period of time, Dutch people were eating potatoes only. He painted these farmers in 1885, at dinner in a time of poverty and hard work. The potato belongs to the nightshade family, of which belladonna is the most well-known species. Never eat potato raw or when it has
changed to green, under the influence of sunlight, and don't eat the sprouts growing from an old potato, due to the
toxic substance solanine.

Quote stu77000 "What?! Never heard that before!"

As children, in The Netherlands, a country fond of potatoes in the fifties and before, we were told this, at home and in school. Solanine is the toxic substance in the nightshade family, which the potato is a member of, see?

That's why people in the "old days" would not eat tomatoes, because they thought they were poisonous.

But, just because something is "of the nightshade family" does not mean it is poisonous.

There have been LARGE groups of people existing almost solely off of potatoes for centuries.

To fully understand why you should eat McVegan, you need to read and study Doctor John McDougall.
He has published many books, but almost all of his information is free on his website.
(who else does that? --- not very many people --- I think that proves that he really just wants to help people be healthy)
He also has some good videos of talks and interviews.
He explains it all very clearly and it makes the most sense, imo, compared to anything else.

By pointing out that potatoes are of the nightshade family, I've never said that potatoes are poisonous. It's just an important detail to keep in mind. For small children, when they're in the transition from breast- or bottle-feeding to solid food, the reaction in their digestive system is fierce, when they eat tomatoes, or tomato sauce, for the first time, joining the diet of their parents.

The rash they have from what's landing in their diapers is very painful, and they often cry for weeks, when they're given this food. Gradually, their system is getting used to it. Nowadays, young parents who both work 9 -17 five days a week, in feverish career-making, don't want to believe that changing their baby's diet so sudden isn't helpful, They expect their child to just be okay with it, a sign of neglect in taking the time for their child's digestive system and choice of food. I know of this because I've worked as a Nanny for many years.

Nowadays, many parents treat their children as employees on the work floor. They're forced to perform and show perfect results, or else, and that work attitude is projected on their children as well. No wonder so many children are in trouble, trying to find their feet when there's no solid ground under them. I'm very very happy to enjoy my years of freedom without having to work for an income, now.

If you mean the juice from a pickle jar, I suppose so, although pickles actually have a lot of salt in them.
I guess it's the pickling brine. And then the sugar in sweet pickles is quite a bit. A little would be better than a lot.

Day 4 on potatoes mono! Um since I haven't had  potatoes in 3 yrs my body is in turmoil. Day and nite lots of gas lol also trips to the bathroom at nite also very bad leg cramps. I don't think I can drink enough water!  Ordered pickle juice to calm cramps. Not sure if I want to go through this another week lol!  My bleeding issues are much better though! Stopping the citric acid and this potatoe thing are making a difference. Just the side effects need to go lol. I've also lost a few pounds which is fine but don't want to lose to many. Don't think I can eat enough potatoes either!!     See what happens the next few days,  cheers

like others said, dmso enemas are about the dumbest thing. use your brain dude.
first the colon absorbs liquids by design. what are you trying to achieve.
2nd the colon has a lot of waste products, why re absorb them with dmso.
3rd you can just ingest DMSO or even inject it and still reach blood levels.
