I think smallpox might be next. Can you tell me if you think regular iodine is as good as Lugols? Lugols hurt my stomach so I switched to a clear brand that I can take with no problem.
The body needs both forms and in my experience, iodide (clear iodine) alone is nowhere near as potent. You say that Lugols was hurting your stomach. How much were you taking? what was the strength? when were you taking it and were you also supplementing with selenium?

It's a powerful method and I used a similar formula to make a nasal spray for a friend that was traveling on business on busy trains and visiting crowded hotels. It works well because the nose contains a lot of ACE2 receptors and is suspected to be the main entry point for the virus. My friend said they felt like they were coming down with something bad but it went away after the nose spray and gargle several times a day.
This is the formula I used. However I swapped the standard salt with Celtic sea salt and the standard water with distilled water. I also added 1/2 a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate with the Povidone-iodine. It could be a good idea to use collodial silver water instead of distilled water assuming it doesn't react with the iodine (it shouldn't).
Povidone-iodine (PVP-I) works as an anti-bacterial agent by releasing free iodine, which disrupts microbial metabolic pathways and leads to irreversible damage to pathogens such as the coronavirus.
The virus may reside in high concentrations in the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and oral cavity. journalotohns.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40463-020-00474-x
