Imba Topic Author Offline Junior Member Posts: 23 Thank you received: 7	Makin CDS now Jim Humble way (not shot glass method), am wondering if there is another way to figure out the strength other than using gatorade or strip tests, only because I have neither. I will go buy Gatorade tomorrow if this is necessar, but wondered if there is another way, I mean perhaps shade of colour? or something? Thanks

If you REALLY want to know what your ppm is, use testing strips. Gatorade is what I call a jungle fix - You can get approx - The following user(s) said Thank You: Imba

That's one of the reasons I like using the shot glass method Imba

Precise measurements with your mix produces an exact 300ppm product. I do make mine daily - due to the low strength and large volumes. Originally I did test my production - but it always measured the same - so the guess work is eliminated. The standard and original method was developed by our old friend Charlotte - and is available on the forum.

But since I have not yet got it my next batch will be shot glass method. I have been drinking it nonetheless, I just followed everything Jim Humble did, from my "results" (physical) I think it may be a little bit stronger than 3000 so I diluted it a bit as well.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
