Borax is reducing arthritis pain in my left hand. At the moment I add 1/4 tsp to 60ml of hot water to dissolve it into solution, let it cool and ingest. I do that twice a day.what does borax do?
I also use it in a washing machine soap recipe. Versatile stuff. Attached is a PDF file about borax.

Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) / CD - Alternative Cancer Treatment
The other thing that we use a lot is Kombucha, but the anti-oxidants from the tea would probably interfere during your dosing, so I would recommend it only after your doses are complete for the day. We make sure and use it with or after dinner when we are on the protocols to reseed our good gut bacteria.

Some questions about Borax.
I mixed up 1 tsp into 1 litre and have been taking a small amount - to slowly increase to avoid the Herk reactions.
When I first mixed it, it was clear then it became foggy, and now there is sediment on the bottom of the jar.
I used room temperature water to mix it.
The questions:
Do you use room temp distilled water to mix it? Or should I heat the water up?
Did I not mix it right? not enough? because I ended up with sediment on the bottom?
Is there another reason to get the sediment?
Do you store this at room temp? or put it in the fridge?
THANKS !

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …
