He was getting worse and was swelling more - even on the side of his face. He was hiding and not wanting to eat. I was trying to do more of the topical MMS (patch) and drops because the internal didn't seem to be helping. I felt so bad for him. I was desperate.
As much as I hate it, he went on another antibiotic. That's another reason I didn't post -- I was so discouraged. Some swelling has gone down and he is happier, eating, etc. I'm continuing daily patch (10 drops mms1, 10 drops distilled water, 10 drops DMSO) on the outer ear flap and base of the ear - and down his jaw. Also the recommended MMS1 ear drop mixture (1 drop per 1 oz distilled water).
It has been awhile since I posted - the 14 days is up on the antibiotics as of yesterday. I've still been using supplements to boost immune and probiotics. I want to up the patch use to twice a day. I have a product on order (Transfer Factor) to super boost immune.
I have tried not to despair - and I keep trying to gain ground.

The antibiotics do work on the infection, but not the polyp, other than taking away some of the inflammation. The problem is the polyp is blocking the ear drum and nothing can really get down there and the vet said the infections will keep occurring unless it's removed. That is why, in combination with the antibiotics, I have to reduce that polyp. I was hopeful the patch could help the MMS get into the bloodstream at that area of the polyp - and it's origin, which is down in there.
He just finished the round of antibiotics. The vet suggested going back on the antibiotic at 2 or 3 week intervals. Until of course, the bacteria becomes resistant. He has been on three different ones. There doesn't seem to be infection now (I don't smell anything and it's not seeping), but it is still sometimes inflamed and I think that is causing the lymph below to follow suit.
The transfer factor is arriving today and I'm hoping that can help as well.
