OK, I've had a response from Jim (who is busy writing) - I may have overreacted :P

It's pretty hard to get a real bad overdose using a nebulizer but it is possible. And hopefully one will get some benefit from it. The overdosing that can really come close to killing you is when you start breathing the chlorine dioxide gas directly. With a nebulizer you are breathing droplets of a very small size which are still the liquid holding a few ppm of chlorine dioxide. So you are getting a little MMS water in your lungs. But when breathing the fumes directly you are getting several thousand times the concentration of Chlorine dioxide and it can really kill the bad stuff in your lungs quickly and very easily too quickly.

You already know how to do the nebulizer things and that can help, a little. But try the cup. Put 2 drops of MMS and 2 drops of activator in a clean dry cup. Do not use any water. Hold your hand over the mouth of the cup for 10 to 20 seconds and then bring the cup up to your nose, remove you hand from the cup, take a sniff breath through your nose until you feel a bite on the nose. Then stop and put you mouth over the cup and take one more breath of the chlorine dioxide gas. Draw you breath in only once until you feel a bite in the lungs. BUT ABSOLUTELY NO MORE.

WARNING: Your lungs do not have pain nerves. So never ever do more than two breathes from the cup with never more than 2 activated drops in the cup. If you make a number of breathes from the cup you will feel OK for about 3 or 4 hours and they you soon will not be able to breath. So keep in mind there is no way of telling when your lunges are getting too much Chlorine dioxide. But if you do this procedure twice a day you will soon notice significant improvements.

Expect to cough quite a bit as you are killing the bad mucus in the lungs and it needs to be coughed out. If you follow this procedure, you cannot hurt yourself. But if you decide to go faster, you can definitely hurt yourself.

This procedure might be necessary for someone who is in bad shape and they would cough a lot. The nebulizer is safer, but takes more time and may not be enough help for someone really in trouble. Since we have found that it takes a lot more CDS than we thought I am not sure what to say about this. However I have used different strengths of MMS for the nebulizer just experimenting and never ever came close to over doing. But the cup is a different thing.

Are you ok after 60 inhales? Sounds very dangerous. How are you doing now? I just hope you have not injured your lungs. I am desperate to Friday my lungs of all the crud, but not brave enough to try your technique. Be safe!

Would it work as well to use CDS in the cup? Since the CDS comes from activated MMS and would be inhaling the chlorine dioxide gas?

Thanks

When you use the cup method you get MORE chlorine dioxide than when you use a nebulizer.

I too have been using the cup method for one week now. I gave up with the nebulizer and CDS after Jim's reply to Pam's inquiry.

I breath two breaths twice a day. I really haven't seen any real improvement yet but I am determined to keep it up. I figure it's taken 70 years for my lungs to get in this shape and it just may take more than a week to reverse. Plus I think that after they get the "gunk" out they still have to heal. I am very impatient and am reminding myself constantly that it will take time.

Please keep us updated on how your lungs are doing. We can do this together. I haven't really coughed up that much stuff. Am still needing to use my symbicort 2x daily.

Are you using CDS or MMS? I do not have MMS but will purchase some just to stay safe. Seems like the CDS is working even though I have not coughed up a lot. I will continue the cup method. I am afraid of the nebulizer.

I am using 2 drops of MMS with 2 drops of citric acid. I hold my hand over the little glass for about 15 seconds and breath once through my nose, exhale and breath once in through my mouth.

Let me know how it's working for you. There just has to be a cure.

Thanks for asking. Just returned to work today after 15 days out taking killer antibiotics. Using the inhalation (cup method) 2-3 times/ day with MMS. It is true one is not sure anything is happening, but I am continuing with inhalation. Been too sick to drink CDS, tried and could not do. Thank goodness I drank it for 3 months for 8 hrs a day before all this began. Think I will at least start the maintenance soon and return to 8 hrs/ day as soon as I can.

I do believe the inhalation will be effective. I am just getting impatient with myself.
