Hi, I have recently read about a protocol for nail fungus (onychomycosis) which suggests a soak ~1hr using a CDS of 100ppm for 7 consecutive days which resulted in a successful treatment of the problem. Does this information sound correct? If so, I have a bottle of CDS at a concentration of 3000ppm and will be using around 350ml of water for the foot bath. How many ml of CDS will I have to use to achieve 100ppm solution?

Many thanks in advance

Its doubtful you can keep it at 100ppm for an hour since the CD will dissipate and evaporate. To get to your target concentration, you will mix it 30:1 ratio cds to water. To make 350ml: 12ml cds,338ml water. But here's an idea: place the foot in a bag with the solution and quickly seal it around your ankle (maybe tape it or rubber bands)

You can always get some ClO2 Test Strips and test the water to see
how long it takes to dissipate. My experience is that it doesn't dissipate
all that fast. I would think an hour would be fine.
But you probably would see some dissipation.

If you do the testing and say it mostly dissipates in 1/2 hour,
then you can just add some more for the next 1/2 hour.
