I wonder if anyone has experience using CDS to combat brown rot in stone fruit trees (peach, plum, etc) or to combat scale on apple trees, etc. I usually use neem oil but that only works on scale. So, have you tried using a CDS solution spray as a pesticide on fruit trees?

Its commonly used in greenhouses to control plant pathogens. It would seem difficult to use outdoors

I think its a brilliant idea and when I make my first batch I will try on a cherry tree. Just wondering the strength and how to make it. I guess I’ll read up on destroying fungi and mold spores.

This is indeed interesting. There are onions, tomatoes, peppers (Green chiles) and some varieties of citrus in my backyard. I have a caterpillar/worm problem.

So far, Bonide's neem oil seems to keep some pests at bay, but I'll try CDS and see what happens.

Due to evaporation, it will be difficult owing to the heat outside. I wonder if swabbing the leaves/roots/stems/bark/etc will have any effect. Or perhaps injecting small quantities of CDS will help.

Here's a question -- will DMSO be usable on plants as well? An idea: swabbing some activated MMS1 onto a DMSO-rubbed patch of the tree.
I am hesitant to experiment on such valuable trees, so i'll try using it on some older roses. They're about 20 or so years old. Frequent mildew and black spot.

I do also have a yellow Angel's Trumpet which attracts a lot of wasps and hornets. I want to try CDS out and see how it goes.
